ENVIRONMENT-INTEGRATED SMART RING CHARGER
A smart ring includes a housing. The smart ring also can include a power source disposed within or at the housing. The power source can be configured to receive energy. The smart ring can further include a controller disposed within or at the housing. The power source also can be configured to power the controller. The controller can be configured to estimate a charging status for the power source. The controller also can be configured to generate information to indicate the charging status. Other embodiments are disclosed.
JEWELRY DEVICE
A jewelry apparatus comprising a base member and a coupling member operably configured for attachment to the base member. The base member having a first prong and a second prong each having a first portion having a first width and a second portion having a second width smaller than the first width. The coupling member comprising a disk member having a first and second side, the first side having a first set of indicia and the second side having a second set of indicia; a first projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the first prong; and a second projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the second prong. The disk member is movably coupled to the base member and the coupling member is configured to rotate such that the indicia sets create the visual appearance of both the indicia sets.
Illuminated Accessory
An illuminated accessory device provides a piece of jewelry to be illuminated. The invention relates to jewelry and includes but is not limited to rings, necklaces, and bracelets. The device may contain a power source, light source, switch, medium, object, wire or housing.
INSECT REPELLANT JEWELRY
An insect repellent system including a jewelry item, wherein the jewelry item includes at least one bead adaptable to at least one of adsorb and absorb at least one essential oil. The at least one essential oil is capable of repelling at least one insect and is present in an effective amount to repel the at least one insect. The system may further include a dish for receiving the jewelry item and the at least one essential oil. The jewelry item is placed in contact with the at least one essential oil in the dish.
Wearable Fluorescent Article of Adornment with Ultraviolet Radiation Source of Excitation
A wearable fluorescent article of adornment with ultraviolet radiation source of excitation is described. At least one ultraviolet light emitting source can irradiate a fluorescent material with ultraviolet radiation. The fluorescent material can generate fluorescent light in response to excitation of the fluorescent material with ultraviolet radiation emitted from the at least one ultraviolet light emitting source. The article of adornment can transmit the fluorescent light generated from the fluorescent material while absorbing the ultraviolet radiation. A control unit can control irradiation of the fluorescent material with the at least one ultraviolet light emitting source, while a power supply component can power the at least one ultraviolet light emitting source and/or the control unit.
CUSTOMIZABLE RING
A ring is configured to allow the wearer or other individual to quickly and easily customize its appearance. A ring can include a securing mechanism to allow one of possibly many attachments to be selectively coupled to the ring. Each attachment can include a design or ornamentation. Accordingly, by selecting a particular attachment, the individual can customize the appearance of the ring.
HARVESTING ENERGY FOR A SMART RING VIA PIEZOELECTRIC CHARGING
A smart ring includes a housing configured to be worn by a user. The smart ring can further include a power source disposed within the housing. The smart ring also can include a charging circuit disposed within the housing. The charging circuit can include a harvesting element configured to charge the power source. The harvesting element can be configured to convert mechanical energy to electrical energy. The smart ring also can include a device at least partially disposed within the housing. The device can be configured to draw energy from the power source. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Jewelry device
A jewelry apparatus comprising a base member and a coupling member operably configured for attachment to the base member. The base member having a first prong and a second prong each having a first portion having a first width and a second portion having a second width smaller than the first width.
