FINGER RING ELECTROCARDIOGRAM MONITOR TRIGGER SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS

A method of monitoring a health status of a patient using a monitoring system comprising a pair of finger ring electrocardiogram (ECG) monitors. Each finger ring monitor comprises an inner ring member and an outer ring member positioned radially outward from and operably connected to the inner ring member. The inner ring member of each monitor features a conductor characterized by at least one physiological-type sensor, and an annular bladder that defines an adjustable aperture sized to receive a left-hand finger of a patient and a right-hand finger of the patient, respectively. Upon triggering by positioning the pair of finger ring ECG monitors substantially together, the conductors of each of the finger ring ECG monitors are configured to receive biopotential signals from skin on the fingers of the patient.

An article of jewelry configured to secure a handheld, mobile electronic device. The article of jewelry includes a shank configured to hold the article of jewelry on a finger of a user and opposing shoulders extending from the shank. A setting extends from the opposing shoulders and has a receptacle, and a ferromagnetic element is disposed in or secured to the article of jewelry. A magnet positioned within the receptacle is configured to form a magnetic bond with the ferromagnetic element and engage a ferromagnetic structure of a handheld, mobile electronic device in a manner such as to secure the handheld, mobile electronic device to a finger of the user.

WEARABLE RING DEVICE WITH DEFORMABLE INNER COVER
20250000218 · 2025-01-02 ·

Systems and devices for a wearable ring device are described. The wearable ring device may include a housing comprising one or more sensors configured to acquire physiological data from a user and a deformable material extending along one or more portions of an inner circumferential surface of the housing. The deformable material may be configured to exert pressure on a digit of the user by conforming to an outer circumferential surface of the digit to form an interference fit with the digit of the user when the wearable ring device is worn by the user. In some cases, the deformable material may be arranged to enhance a signal quality of measurements by the one or more sensors through an application of pressure on the digit of the user within an area of the digit adjacent to the one or more sensors.

A ring can include a housing. The housing can include a first power source configured to be charged by a second power source removably positioned adjacent to the housing. The housing also can include a component. The component can be configured to draw energy from the first power source. The component also can sense a physical phenomenon external to the housing. The component further can send communication signals to a communication device. Other embodiments are disclosed.

C-RING FORM FACTOR FOR WEARABLE RING DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE SIZE

A wearable device, such as a wearable ring device, configured to transition between multiple discrete ring sizes is disclosed. The wearable ring device may include a discontinuous ring-shaped housing that extends radially around at least a portion of a circumference of the wearable ring device, where a first end and a second end of the discontinuous ring-shaped housing are separated from one another by a radial distance and configured to move relative to one another. The wearable ring device may further include one or more sensors positioned at least partially within an inner circumferential surface of the discontinuous ring-shaped housing, and one or more mechanical components configured to transition the wearable ring device between the multiple discrete ring sizes.

WEARABLE RING DEVICE WITH MULTIPLE RINGS FOR ADJUSTABLE CIRCUMFERENCE

A wearable device, such as a wearable ring device, configured to transition between multiple discrete ring sizes is described. For example, the wearable ring device may include multiple rings coupled to one another (e.g., adjacent, parallel, or concentric rings), where a user may manipulate or adjust the rings relative to one another to transition between multiple discrete ring sizes. In some cases, the multiple rings may be oval or elliptical-shaped, where rotating the rings relative to one another may change the size of the ring. In some other cases, the multiple rings may be threaded such that they may be screwed into and out of one another. In some other cases, the wearable ring device may include a long housing that may coil into itself to form multiple concentric loops, where coiling or uncoiling the concentric loops adjusts the ring size.
