Shaped Nonwoven
A nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property. The nonwoven further has a plurality of apertures, wherein at least a portion of the aperture abuts at least one of the first region and the second region of the microzone.
WATER ABSORPTION TREATMENT MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided are a water absorption treatment material with excellent water disintegrability and a method for manufacturing the water absorption treatment material. A water absorption treatment material is a water absorption treatment material that absorbs a liquid, and includes a granule. The granule contains a foaming agent. Upon the water absorption treatment material absorbing a liquid, gas bubbles are produced in the granule as a result of a reaction of the foaming agent, and the granule collapses.
WATER ABSORPTION TREATMENT MATERIAL
The present invention provides a water absorption treatment material that has a structure suitable for obtaining a high level of water disintegrability. A water absorption treatment material is a water absorption treatment material that absorbs a liquid, and includes a granular core portion and a coating layer portion. The granular core portion has a granular shape. The granular core portion contains a first water-absorbent polymer. The coating layer portion covers the granular core portion. The coating layer portion contains a second water-absorbent polymer. The second water-absorbent polymer has a mean particle size smaller than the mean particle size of the first water-absorbent polymer.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE HAVING NATURAL FIBERS
Herein is disclosed a biodegradable absorbent article having a natural fiber cake which may include a mixture of plant fibers and plant pulp, such as from a banana plant, and in embodiments, includes an absorbent article having a permeable top sheet; a natural fiber cake that may be derived from plant material such as the banana plant; a water-insoluble back sheet; and an optional superabsorbent polymer, and wherein the absorbent article may be used for many purposes such as a sanitary napkin or urinary incontinence pads.
Method for making a shaped nonwoven
A nonwoven fabric comprises a first surface, a second surface, and a visually discernible pattern on at least one of the first and second surfaces. The visually discernible pattern has a regular, repeating pattern of three-dimensional features. Each of the three-dimensional features define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions having a difference in values for an intensive property. The first surface has a TS7 value in the range of about 1 dB V.sup.2 rms to about 15 dB V.sup.2 rms. The second surface has a TS7 value in the range of about 1 dB V.sup.2 rms to about 15 dB V.sup.2 rms. A ratio of the TS7 value of the first surface to the TS7 value of the second surface is in the range of about 1 to about 3.

COMPOSTABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLE
The present invention relates to a disposable absorbent article that can be fully compostable, wherein such article contains, as sole absorbent material, one or more silicon-based products selected from: hydrated aluminosilicates and fumed silica, optionally in combination with other silica-based compounds and/or natural silica, processes for the preparation of such article and for the preparation of said absorbent material.
Compostable Diaper and Method of Manufacturing Thereof
A diaper comprising a biodegradable top sheet, a biodegradable absorbent core and a biodegradable bottom sheet, wherein the bottom sheet is liquid impervious and wherein the top sheet is configured for transmission of bodily fluids to the absorbent core. The absorbent core comprises a first and a second non-woven layer comprising pulp fibers, and in between thereof a composting-stimulating layer comprising charcoal.
SANITARY ABSORBING CONSTRUCTION
A sanitary absorbing construction to be used by children and infants to hold and restrain liquid and solid dejections, which article is conventionally called napkin, of a single-use or disposable kind, made by combining different raw synthetic or natural materials, comprising apple waste materials, being industrially transformed into composite sub-layers which are assembled together to form articles having different shapes depending on technical or aesthetical requirements, and being biodegradable either before or after their use, when released into the environment, and being compostable or able to be transformed to into organic amending materials, when properly collected and separated or mixed with other organic domestic waste materials and then let into the compost cycle, per se or together with organic waste materials either from foodstuff or not.
ABSORBENT INSERT
An absorbent insert comprising an absorbent material between a top core wrap sheet and a back core wrap sheet, said absorbent insert having a first and second longitudinal edge and a first and second transverse edge, wherein the absorbent insert is provided with at least one elongate channel zone, wherein the absorbent insert is free of side panels, fasteners, cuffs and elastic waist elements.
