Sanitary article having assymmetrical fastening wings
The present disclosure relates to a sanitary article (1), such as a sanitary napkin or a pantiliner. The sanitary article (1) has a first fastening wing (9) extending at a first longitudinal side edge (5) and a second fastening wing (10) extending at a second longitudinal side edge (6), the first fastening wing (9) having a first wing maximum width (W.sub.f1max) and the second fastening wing (10) having a second wing maximum width (W.sub.f2max). The first fastening wing (9) comprises a first adhesive region (12) on a garment facing side thereof and the second fastening wing (10) comprises a second adhesive region (13) on a garment facing side thereof, the first and the second adhesive regions (12,13) having a respective adhesive region maximum width (w.sub.a1max, w.sub.a2max). The first and the second adhesive region (12,13) are covered with a common release paper (14,140), the common release paper (14,140) having a width (w.sub.t), as seen in the transverse direction. The first and the second fastening wings (9,10) are arranged in a folded configuration onto the topsheet (2) in a non-overlapping manner. The first and second fastening wings (9,10) are asymmetrical with respect to any transverse and longitudinal axis and the width of the release paper (w.sub.t) is not more than 7 mm greater than the sum of the first and the second adhesive region maximum widths, w.sub.a1max+w.sub.a2max.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
The disclosure provides an absorbent undergarment comprising an integrated absorbent assembly, having an extension in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The assembly comprises an absorbent core comprising first and second absorbent layers, and having front, crotch and rear portions, and front and rear transverse edges. The first and second absorbent layers overlap in the crotch portion. The first absorbent layer has a first layer frontmost half and a rearmost half, the first absorbent layer having front and rear transverse edges. The second absorbent layer has a rearmost half and frontmost half, the second absorbent layer has a rear transverse edge and front transverse edge, wherein a maximum width of the first layer frontmost half is greater than that of the first layer rearmost half and wherein a maximum width of the second layer rearmost half is greater than that of the second layer frontmost half.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH FRONT AND/OR BACK WAIST REGIONS HAVING A HIGH-STRETCH ZONE AND A LOW-STRETCH ZONE AND METHODS FOR MAKING
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles having elastic laminates in front and/or back waist regions with high-stretch zones and low-stretch zones.
Process for making an absorbent article comprising a topsheet/acquisition layer laminate
A process of making an absorbent article comprising providing a liquid permeable topsheet web extending substantially continuously in a machine direction. The topsheet web having a first and second surface and a backsheet web extending substantially continuously in the machine direction and an acquisition layer having a first and second surface. The process comprises aligning the topsheet web and the acquisition layer in a face to face relationship such that the second surface of the topsheet in in contact with the first surface of the acquisition layer and simultaneously mechanically deforming and combining the topsheet web together with the acquisition layer. The topsheet web and acquisition layer are nested together such that a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the topsheet web coincide with and fit together with a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the acquisition layer to provide a topsheet/acquisition layer laminate web having three-dimensional protrusions.
CONFIGURABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING REMOVABLE FASTENING MEMBERS
Configurable absorbent articles are provided. The absorbent articles may comprise a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent articles may comprise a first waist region, a second waist region, a crotch region extending intermediate the first waist region and the second waist region, and an outer cover material joined to the backsheet and forming a portion of a garment-facing surface of the absorbent article. The absorbent articles may comprise leg cuffs and one or more fully removable fastening members. The fastening member may comprise a first fastener on a first surface of the fastening member and positioned proximate to a first end and a second fastener on the first surface and positioned proximate to a second end.
ABSORBENT PRODUCTS HAVING IMPROVED PACKAGING EFFICIENCY
A package comprising an interior space and an exterior surface may have a plurality of disposable absorbent articles disposed within the interior space of the package. Each of the disposable absorbent articles may have a topsheet; a backsheet; an absorbent core located between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent products may exhibit an In-Bag Stack Height of less about 80 mm as measured according to an In-Bag Stack Height Test.
Absorbent article with an absorbent layer having an opening extending therethrough
An absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin or incontinence pad has longitudinal side edges, transversal end edges, a fluid permeable topsheet, a fluid impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core located between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes a first absorbent layer having an opening extending therethrough and a fluid flow control structure located between said first absorbent layer and said backsheet. The first absorbent layer has a longitudinal front portion and a longitudinal back portion and a narrow transversal transition located between said front portion and said back portion. The width of the narrow transversal transition is 50-75% of the widest transversal width of the front portion of the first absorbent layer and 20-50% of the longitudinal length of the opening is located in the front portion of the first absorbent layer.
WAIST-TO-SIDE SILHOUETTES OF ADULT DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLES AND ARRAYS
In one embodiment, an array of packages may comprise two or more different sizes of disposable absorbent articles. The Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of a second absorbent article may be equal to or greater than a Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of a first absorbent article.
