ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH LEG GASKETING CUFF
A disposable absorbent article may include a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a leg gasketing system. The leg gasketing system may include an inner cuff and an outer cuff; the inner cuff may include an inner cuff folded edge and an inner cuff material edge and the outer cuff may include an outer cuff folded edge and an outer cuff material edge such that the web of material is folded laterally inward to form the outer cuff folded edge and folded laterally outward to form the inner cuff folded edge.
BREATHABLE AND MICROPOROUS THIN THERMOPLASTIC FILM
Breathable, thermoplastic films, laminates, and methods of making films having a basis weight less than or equal to 15 gsm and a water vapor transmission rate of at least about 500 grams H.sub.2O/24-hour/m.sup.2, wherein the film has a ratio of the MD load at break to the CD load at break of less than about 10, and at least one of a machine direction notched Elmendorf tear strength of at least about 5 g or a machine direction notched trapezoidal tear strength of at least about 15 g, are disclosed.
Protective garment
Protective garment (100) in the form of a pantie, a pair of trousers or other legwear with or without an upper/torso part, comprising a front part (101); a back part (102); a waist (103); and a crotch part (110) having a leak-proof body (120).
The invention is characterised in that the garment comprises a dorsal shaping element (130), arranged along the intergluteal cleft of a user, fastened to or constituting an integrated part of the leak-proof body and fastened to or constituting an integrated part of the back part, in that the dorsal shaping element (130) does not extend all the way up the waist, and in that the dorsal shaping element (130) is arranged so that, when a dorsal/upward force is applied thereto when the waist is pulled upwards, it in turn forces a part of the crotch part extending along the intergluteal cleft of said user upwards.
DURABLE ABSORBENT UNDERWEAR WITH ODOR CONTROL FEATURES
A durable absorbent pant may include an absorbent gusset disposed in at least a crotch portion, the absorbent gusset comprising at least one layer of absorbent fabric and a fluid barrier layer disposed beneath the at least one layer of absorbent fabric; the absorbent fabric having a forwardmost end edge in the front portion, a rearwardmost end edge in a rear portion, and a pair of opposing side edges proximate the respective leg opening edges; a peripheral region; and an odor-adsorbent structure disposed at least partially in a peripheral region, the odor-adsorbent structure comprising an adsorbent layer comprising an adsorbent material selected from the group consisting of zeolites, functionalized silicas metal-organic frameworks, activated carbon, and combinations thereof.
SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR INCONTINENCE GARMENTS
A garment system for incontinence management includes a pouch integrated into underwear or other close-fitting garments. The pouch comprises a front panel and a rear panel with mesh fabric, connected by vertically opposed seams and a horizontally opposed lower seam formed with a gusset. An opening between the panels allows insertion of a removable incontinence guard from the outside of the garment. The mesh fabric may be positioned against the wearer's body to efficiently wick body fluids from one side to the other, transferring moisture to the incontinence guard within the pouch. The garment may include boxer briefs, briefs, or workout clothing. This system provides improved comfort and discretion by separating the absorbent guard from direct skin contact while maintaining effective fluid management through the specialized mesh construction.
Absorbent article with leg gasketing cuff
A disposable absorbent article may include a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a leg gasketing system. The leg gasketing system may include an inner cuff and an outer cuff. The inner cuff may include an inner cuff folded edge and an inner cuff material edge and the outer cuff may include an outer cuff folded edge and an outer cuff material edge such that the web of material is folded laterally inward to form the outer cuff folded edge and folded laterally outward to form the inner cuff folded edge.
