SELECTIVELY ILLUMINATED JEWELRY, AND A SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
A system and method selectively illuminate gems in a piece of jewelry, allowing the jewelry to be transformed into a utilitarian object as well as a decorative object. A person can wear the jewelry ornamentally, as well as use the jewelry like a watch or a touch screen. The jewelry includes a plurality of gems, a plurality of light sources, and a controller. The plurality of gems is arranged in at least one grid. Each of the light sources emits light reachable to a corresponding gem and oriented to illuminate the corresponding gem. The controller is responsive to a received input and is configured to selectively control the plurality of light sources to selectively illuminate the light sources to shine or not shine light on each of the plurality of gems. The light selectively changes an optical property of each gem corresponding to the received input.
Methods and apparatus for illuminating gemstones
A light source comprising a substrate, wherein the substrate is coated with a transflective thin film optical coating, wherein the coating results in a metallic mirror and/or iridescent effect on the substrate; and a light emitting diode comprising an internal circuitry, wherein when the light source in a switched-Off mode the metallic mirror effect or the iridescent effect conceal internal circuitry of the light emitting diode to provide an aesthetic look and color on the gemstone, wherein when the light source is switched-ON the transflective thin film allows LED light to transmit through the substrate, wherein the light source comprises a substantially invisible light source integrated onto a substrate. In other embodiments, LED may include OLED, transparent inorganic LED, flexible COF LED, etc. . . . . In embodiments, the gemstone may be foiled, unfoiled, multi-facetted, colorless, colored, etc. . . . .
WEARABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A wearable electronic device includes a primary bead, two spacer beads and a bead string. The two spacer beads each defines a first side and a second side opposite to each other. The first sides of the two spacer beads are respectively disposed on two opposite sides of the primary bead. Two ends of the bead string are respectively connected to the second sides of the two spacer beads.
Organizer for wearable electronic pieces
An organizer for wearable electronic pieces or wireless communication jewelry. The pieces may be of an enhanced ergonomic form, particularly suitable for long-term wear and the organizer manages unique protocols of recharge for a potential plurality of such pieces. Additionally, charging takes place through a support mechanism which accommodates a discrete securing extension portion of a piece in a substantially matching fashion. Further, a casing of the piece is substantially displaced from the accommodating location. A charging device of the organizer is coupled to the support mechanism such that recharge of the piece may take place through a charge region of the discrete portion of the piece. Notably, the organizer is configured in such a manner that a plurality of pieces may be secured and recharged without the need for an individually dedicated and/or wire-based recharger for each and every piece in a collection of pieces.
SYSTEM OF JEWELRY STORAGE AND METHOD OF USE
A storage system is provided, having at least one of the storage container and a system to attach the at least one of the storage container to a user. The storage system can take the form of a necklace, anklet, bracelet, or belt. The system permits a user to store lipstick, gloss, mascara, eyeliner, perfume, pepper spray, money, cellular phones, and identification.
JEWELRY IMAGE PROJECTION AND METHOD
An article of jewelry comprising; a frame; and a decorative element secured within the frame, wherein two-dimensional array of optical phase shifting structures is embedded in the decorative element; wherein the two-dimensional array of optical phase shifting structures project an image when illuminated with a light source.
PLATFORM FOR GESTURAL GAMING DEVICE
Systems and methods are described for playing a game using a gestural gaming device. In an embodiment, the gestural gaming device includes a processor, a sensor, a communications transceiver, and a plurality of lighting elements. An application may be executed on a mobile device in communication with the gestural gaming device via the communications transceiver. The system may also include a back-end server in communication with the application over a network. The game may be played using the gestural gaming device in conjunction with one or more gestures, the game being managed by the application using the plurality of lighting elements. A winner of the game may be awarded a reward in response to winning the game from the back-end server via the gestural gaming device.
Ring-type wearable device
A ring-type wearable device is disclosed. The disclosed ring-type wearable device comprises: an outer ring member; an inner ring member separably inserted into the outer ring member; a sensor unit disposed in the outer ring member; and a control unit disposed in the outer ring member so as to be electrically connected to the sensor unit, wherein the sensor unit can maintain constant sensitivity in correspondence to the thickness of the inner ring member.
Illuminated Ring
An illuminated ring. The illuminated ring includes an annular member having an exterior surface opposite an interior surface, wherein a first plurality of lights are disposed on the exterior surface. A second plurality of lights are disposed across an upper surface of the annular member, oriented perpendicularly to the first plurality of lights. A switch disposed on the exterior surface, the switch operably connected to each of the first plurality of lights and the second plurality of lights such that the switch can toggle each of the first plurality of lights and the second plurality of lights between an activated state and a deactivated state.
WEARABLE DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR PERSONAL AUDIO MESSAGING
A unique system for providing wireless messaging to a user within an earring type device is described. The earring type device (any type of ear jewelrypierced, clip-on, cuff, etc.) includes an embedded wireless Audio Clip Player, a Bluetooth transceiver, a speaker, battery with wired or wireless charging, memory to hold configuration or audio files, and switches (mechanical, capacitive touch, etc.) for control. The utility of these electronics embedded in the earring is so to periodically (predetermined timing) play short audio clip messages to the user's ear with the ambient noise, as if someone were whispering in their ear. The system includes a smartphone application that manages timing and transmits audio clips for personal messaging as well as creates a platform for social media and repository of audio clips from a community of users.
