DEVICE COMPRISING DECORATIVE OBJECTS HAVING RESTRAINED FREEDOM TO MOVE AND SUSPENDED IN FLUID
A decorative, wearable system includes at least one decorative element mechanically and moveably suspended in a liquid by mechanical fixation elements. The liquid shares a substantially similar refraction index as at least one of mechanical fixation elements.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND RELATED METHODS FOR LIGHT REFLECTION WITH GROOVED SURFACES
An apparatus, system, and related methods for light reflection with grooved surfaces are provided. The light reflection apparatus with grooved surfaces has a first surface with a quantity of grooves therein. A second surface has a quantity of grooves therein. The grooves in the second surface have a different angular shape, different size, different angular orientation, or a different unit density than the grooves in the first surface. At least one light source emits light on the first and second surfaces. As a direction of the emitted light changes relative to the first and second surfaces, the quantity of grooves in the first or second surface reflect the light independently of one another.
Interactive skin for vehicle
A panel of a vehicle may be provided with or configured to provide interactive skin. The interactive skin may be configured for accepting touch input from a user. The interactive skin may include one or more flexible layers and may include or be mounted under a transparent display cover layer such as a layer of clear glass or plastic. Interactive skin may include a touch-sensitive layer that allows a user to provide touch input to the panel of the vehicle. Display pixels on interactive skin may be used to display visual information to the user. The interactive skin may be configured for detecting a condition of at least one panel and generating an output function in response to the detected condition.
Electronic personal jewelry articles
A personal jewelry article includes a light source coupled to a power source and located within a compartment interior of a shank of the personal jewelry article. A stone is connected to the shank above the compartment. The light source emits light through the stone and the stone alters the light emitted by the light source.
PERSONAL SOUND AMPLIFICATION ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING SAME
A Personal Sound Amplification System is provided includes a Personal Sound Amplification Device (PSAD) which includes a PSAD module body which defines a PSAD module body cavity for containing PSAD electronics, wherein the PSAD electronics include at least one PSAD microphone configured to receive a sound input and generate a microphone signal, a PSAD amplifier configured generate a processed microphone signal and a PSAD speaker configured to receive the processed microphone signal and generate a sound output; an external sound tube, wherein the external sound tube is associated with the PSAD module body; and a jewelry attachment device, wherein the jewelry attachment device is removably associated with the PSAD module body front and configured to magnetically associate with a decorative jewelry cover.
Ring-type wearable device
A ring-type wearable device is disclosed. The disclosed ring-type wearable device comprises: an outer ring member; an inner ring member separably inserted into the outer ring member; a sensor unit disposed in the outer ring member; and a control unit disposed in the outer ring member so as to be electrically connected to the sensor unit, wherein the sensor unit can maintain constant sensitivity in correspondence to the thickness of the inner ring member.
LIGHT BULB WITH ILLUMINATED CRYSTAL
A light bulb assembly that illuminates a crystal, where the crystal is mechanically secured without the use of an adhesive or a hole created within the crystal, is disclosed herein. The crystal may be secured to the light bulb assembly using a mechanical attachment such as a clamp, clip, spring, shim, thread, ring, or other suitable mechanical attachment. The crystal may preferably be secured to the light bulb assembly using a mechanical attachment that provides sufficient compression to secure the crystal. The mechanical attachment may preferably remain secure when heated by the light source of the light bulb assembly when in use.
Synchronized illuminated fashion accessories
Devices, a set of devices, and methods are described to create coordinated, or synchronized, displays of colors by worn fashion accessories, such as necklaces, earrings, shoes, belts, and the like. A master device is defined that sends broadcast, wireless commands to slave devices, which respond with colors and timing in a synchronized way, typically to enhance the experiences of the wearers. Synchronization may include simultaneous lighting, sequential lighting, the same color or coordinated colors. A group ID in messages is defined so that a first set of fashion accessories on a first group of wearers may be controlled by one master, while a nearby second set of fashion accessories worn by a second set of wearers controlled by a second master do not conflict. Operation, including changes from a standby state to an operational state is automatic, using, for example motion detection.
