An article of jewelry in the form of a magnetic ring, which includes a substantially circular shank having an upper half and a lower half, where the lower half has a non-magnetizable region of non-magnetizable material; and a magnetized insert embedded within the non-magnetizable region of the lower half of the shank, where the insert is configured to induce a magnetic field beneath the ring, the insert having a magnet joined to a magnetized substrate, which follows a contour of the shank.

A system and method for attaching one or more accessories to an eyewear frame for user wearing. A first tubular sleeve comprising a first end, a second end, and a length extending there between is configured to slidably secure to an arm portion of an eyewear frame such that the length covers a portion of the eyewear frame and at least a portion of an external surface of the length comprises an attachment surface for securely coupling to a secondary attachment surface where the secondary attachment surface is secured to at least one accessory. The accessory may be a necklace, dangling adornment, fabric drape, headband or a combination thereof.

A system and method of securing an accessory to an eyewear frame by providing at least one attachment mechanism comprising dual loops wherein a first loop is configured for connection to the eyewear frame and a second loop is configured for connection to the accessory and sliding the first loop onto an arm of the eyewear frame. One or more accessories each having at least one secondary attachment mechanism for securing to the second loop can be provided and securing the second loop to the at least one secondary attachment mechanism allows for interchangeably securing at least one of the one or more accessories to the eyewear frame. The accessory may be a fabric drape, scarf, hat, headband, necklace, or other adornment configured to be secured to eyewear or otherwise dangle or drape from the eyewear frame.

A technique for closing garments provides a flexible line and a take-up component. The flexible line has a first end and a second end. Each end of the flexible line is coupled to a respective fastener, and each fastener is configured to attach to a respective garment portion, such as portions of a sweater, prayer shawl, scarf, or the like. The take-up component contains a segment of the flexible line and is adjustable to vary the segment's length. In this manner, a person can attach the two fasteners and adjust the take-up component to vary a degree of closure between the garment portions.

Positioning a cord of a corded instrument is accomplished by securing a wearable cord positioner around a wrist or arm of a technician, and then attaching a cord positioner attachment to the cord positioner for cords that are larger or smaller than the cord positioner is designed to accommodate.
