A mobile wastewater treatment facility, comprising a first vehicle having one or more first water treatment systems, a second vehicle having one or more second water treatment systems and wherein the first vehicle and the second vehicle are modular, and the first water treatment systems and second water treatment systems are configurable in combination to process contaminated water as a function of the type of contamination.

Fresh water price index based on water quality
11669905 · 2023-06-06 · ·

A method and system for computing a stable index value of fresh water based on water quality category and/or grade from current values of root commodities (i.e. freely marketed products) that either have fresh water as a constituent and/or utilize fresh water in their production, usable to develop a stable investment instrument for investing in fresh water. A processor may process associations between a root commodity and a water quality category of fresh water. A display associated with a computer may display updateable current prices of fresh water of a particular water quality category and/or grade and updateable current prices of one or more root commodities. A water measurement device may measure at least one water source of fresh water with respect to at least one of TDS, carbonate content, pH, hardness, sodium, chloride, nitrate, toxins and sodium adsorption ratio and compare against standards to categorize the fresh water.

Photocatalytic compositions and methods for their preparation and use

A photocatalytic composition is disclosed that includes a silver halide in combination with one or more rare earth elements. The composition may be used for the photocatalytic degradation of pollutants.

WATER PURIFICATION DEVICE

A water purification device, with a first pressure cylinder, a second pressure cylinder, a first cylinder block and a second cylinder block. The first pressure cylinder, the second cylinder block and the second pressure cylinder are arranged successively, and the second cylinder block is arranged inside the first cylinder block. The first pressure cylinder and the second pressure cylinder both are open at one end and formed with a first through-hole at the other end, and enclosed. The first cylinder block and the second cylinder block both are open at two ends and arranged in a shape of hollow cylinder. A water inlet, which is communicated with flow passages formed between the first cylinder block and the second cylinder block, is formed on the second cylinder block, and a water outlet pipe communicated with the first cylinder block is inserted into an outer wall of the second cylinder block.

Tannery process with effluent recycling
09776887 · 2017-10-03 · ·

A recycling process for achieving near-zero emissions of tannery effluent is characterized in that effluent recycling is carried out independently in soaking, liming, re-liming, de-liming bating, pickling chrome tanning, re-tanning, neutralizing, and dyeing procedures. The effluents in the above procedures can be recycled in each step. This process greatly reduces effluent discharge and helps solve the problem of tanning pollution. The process also improves the quality of the finished leather, effectively decreases loose grain rate and increases compactness and fullness of the finished product. The project can reduce chemical material consumption by 15%-55%. For example, the consumption of chromium powder can be reduced up to 65%. Consumption of other chemical materials can be reduced by more than 90%, while certain chemical materials can be essentially completely conserved.

Water use monitoring apparatus
09749792 · 2017-08-29 ·

The present invention is a water use and/or a water energy use monitoring apparatus that is affixed to the hot and cold water supply piping for continuously (or on demand) monitoring displaying the water and water energy (hot vs. ambient) use within a residential or commercial building. The water use monitor apparatus includes a power generation, a microprocessor, temperature and water flow sensors, optional water quality sensors, timing circuits, wireless circuitry, and a display means. A wired or wireless means is designed to electronically communicate water use, water energy use and/or water quality information to a remotely located display apparatus or typical cell phone, smart phones, or similar apparatus for convenient observation by a commercial, operator or occupier, resident, municipal or government agency.

TRANSPORTABLE MULTI-CHAMBER WATER FILTRATION SYSTEMS

A transportable multi-chamber water filtration system useable at construction sites with sources of contaminated water is disclosed. The transportable multi-chamber water filtration system removes sediment and contaminants from contaminated water by combined processes of gravitational settling, filtration and coagulation of sediment by the use of flocculants. The system provides efficient removal of sediment and contaminants from the water around various sized sites.

System of components which, assembled, form a rainwater separator for a downpipe

A system of components, which, when assembled, form a rainwater separator for a downpipe is disclosed. The system includes, among other things, a screen for fine filtering of the rainwater. In a first assembly arrangement, the parts are assembled to form a rainwater separator with the screen so that the filtered water can be used as non-potable water for the household. In a second assembly arrangement, the screen is omitted, so that the water obtained from the rainwater separator may be utilized for watering the garden, for example.

SEDIMENT FILTRATION DEVICE, METHOD AND SYSTEM

A filtration system having a malleable compartment and a handle. The malleable compartment has a permeable fabric forming an exterior of the malleable compartment. The exterior at least partially faces a contaminated fluid. The permeable fabric has a pore size that defines the permeability of the fabric. The malleable compartment also has an interior that holds an interchangeable microfiltration medium. The microfiltration medium has a pore size that is smaller than the pore size of the permeable fabric. The filtration system also included a handle that is affixed to the malleable compartment.

Apparatus, system, and method for remediation of contamination
09725140 · 2017-08-08 · ·

An apparatus, system and method for removing and treating contaminated materials on a bottom of a body of water and introducing growth packets to revitalize the treated bottom of the body of water. The structure may comprise a vessel with an open face. The vessel may be lowered down to the bottom of the body of water with the face facing down. As a result, the vessel and the bottom form an isolated space. The structure may comprise at least one agitating device(s) for stirring up the materials inside the vessel so as to form a mixture containing the sediment materials which in turn contain the contaminants. Multiple at least one pipe(s) may be coupled to the vessel for transporting the mixture out of the vessel for processing (filtering, treating with chemicals, etc.) so as to neutralize or eliminate the contaminants in the mixture. Then, the treated mixture can be returned to the inside of the vessel via the at least one pipe(s).
