Tannery process with effluent recycling
A recycling process for achieving near-zero emissions of tannery effluent is characterized in that effluent recycling is carried out independently in soaking, liming, re-liming, de-liming bating, pickling chrome tanning, re-tanning, neutralizing, and dyeing procedures. The effluents in the above procedures can be recycled in each step. This process greatly reduces effluent discharge and helps solve the problem of tanning pollution. The process also improves the quality of the finished leather, effectively decreases loose grain rate and increases compactness and fullness of the finished product. The project can reduce chemical material consumption by 15%-55%. For example, the consumption of chromium powder can be reduced up to 65%. Consumption of other chemical materials can be reduced by more than 90%, while certain chemical materials can be essentially completely conserved.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ECOLOGICAL OPERATION OF TOTAL PHOSPHORUS EXPORT OF CASCADE HYDROPOWER STATION
A method and system for ecological operation of total phosphorus (TP) export of a cascade hydropower station are provided. The method includes: integrating total power generation and TP export of the cascade hydropower station into a single operation objective, and obtaining an operation objective under different weight ratios; optimizing the obtained operation objective; and obtaining a water level operation process corresponding to total power generation and TP export under the current operation objective through the optimized operation objective. The present invention alleviates an ecological and environmental problem caused by the construction of the hydropower station from a water quality mechanism, and can be widely used, for example, in the ecological optimal operation of cascade hydropower stations in a river basin.
PORTABLE INDOOR/OUTDOOR ATMOSPHERIC WATER GENERATOR
A wirelessly controlled device for atmospheric water generation is provided. The device comprises an atmospheric water generator for generating filtered potable water and a wireless external control system. The wireless external control system comprises one or more display presentation pages for displaying a plurality of operating parameters for the atmospheric water generator, including content display with a variety of operation parameters and historical water collection data for operation of the atmospheric water generator. The wireless external control also has one or more display pages configured for user input for a user to select one or more water generation parameters for operation of the atmospheric water generator. Once the device is directed by the wireless external control system to generate water, the device is capable of automatic water generation until the device fulfills the one or more set water generation parameters.
Comprehensive reconstruction method for long-series sediment data in data-lacking areas
A comprehensive reconstruction method for long-series sediment data in data-lacking areas includes steps of: collecting hydrological and sediment data of a target river section; calculating sediment data in data-rich years with a flow-sediment content annual relationship curve method; calculating sediment data in only water quality and sediment test years with a correlation method between water quality and sediment data and hydrological station sediment data; calculating sediment data in data-lacking years with an adjacent station same year flow-sediment content relationship curve method; and calculating sediment data in remaining years with a multi-year average flow-sediment content relationship curve method. The method comprehensively adopts four methods to reconstruct the long-series sediment data based on sediment actual observation and characteristics in the data-lacking areas, which can make up for the limitations and deficiencies between the four methods, and the required data is easier to collect than those in the conventional methods.

MULTI-EFFECT ENERGY-SAVING APPARATUS FOR POLLUTION CONTROL AND UTILIZATION OF PETROCHEMICAL WATER
A multi-effect energy-saving apparatus for pollution control and utilization of petrochemical water, has a multi-effect treatment device, a post-treatment device, a first loading head, a second loading head, and a third loading head, by combined assembly of devices, the apparatus is simple to disassemble and easy to clean, meanwhile due to the controllable addition of treating agent by using a multi-effect regulator, a fluid outlet connecting member and other components, it is energy-saving and multi-effective, and has excellent treatment effect.
FRESH WATER PRICE INDEX BASED ON WATER QUALITY
A method and system for computing a stable index value of fresh water based on water quality category and/or grade from current values of root commodities (i.e. freely marketed products) that either have fresh water as a constituent and/or utilize fresh water in their production, usable to develop a stable investment instrument for investing in fresh water. A processor may process associations between a root commodity and a water quality category of fresh water. A display associated with a computer may display updateable current prices of fresh water of a particular water quality category and/or grade and updateable current prices of one or more root commodities. A water measurement device may measure at least one water source of fresh water with respect to at least one of TDS, carbonate content, pH, hardness, sodium, chloride, nitrate, toxins and sodium adsorption ratio and compare against standards to categorize the fresh water.
