LIQUID RUN-OFF DISPOSAL SYSTEM
20210324621 · 2021-10-21 ·

An improved liquid run-off disposal system is described having an infiltration chamber 72 with first and second sidewalls 74. In cross-sectional view the first and second sidewalls 74 each include an inner surface 76 and outer surface 78, and each sidewall 74 includes a plurality of integrated louvre-shaped apertures 80. In cross-sectional view each louvre-shaped aperture 80 includes an upper surface 82 and a lower surface 84 which are angled upwards from the outer surface 78 and protrude inwards from the inner surface 76 into the interior of the infiltration chamber 72. The upper and lower surfaces 82, 84 comprise a plurality of angled sections, the angled sections being arranged so as to form a substantially vertical flow path through a portion of the aperture 80. The angled sections of the upper and lower surfaces 82, 84 are arranged at an angle and of a length so as to substantially overlap when viewed in a horizontal direction. The overlapping region “Y.sub.1” ensures that the apertures 80 will admit the exit of water but substantially inhibit the entry of soil wherein, in use, when liquid run-off is piped into the infiltration chamber 72 it can drain away through the apertures 80 and into the surrounding soil.

There is provided a flush toilet that performs flushing by rim spouting, the flush toilet allowing the size of a flush water tank to be reduced while enabling discharge of a sufficient amount of flush water to a toilet main body. A flush toilet 1 includes a toilet main body 2 including a bowl 2a, a rim 2c and a rim spout port 2f for discharging supplied flush water to the rim 2c, a flush water tank device 4, a pump device 6, a water supply device 8, and a controller 10, where the controller 10 is capable of performing a flushing mode in which the total amount of discharge of flush water discharged to the rim spout port 2f by the pump device 6 is greater than a tank capacity of the flush water tank device 4, and the controller 10 controls driving of the pump device 6 and the water supply device 8 in the flushing mode such that at least a part of a water supply period when flush water is supplied by the water supply device overlaps a discharge period when flush water is discharged by the pump device 6.

Regenerative stormwater conveyance system and method

A regenerative stormwater conveyance (RSC) system for treating and dispersing stormwater runoff is disclosed which includes an upstream entry point where water enters the system and an entry pool downstream from the entry point that collects water from the entry point. The RSC system includes one or more shallow aquatic beds that receive water from the entry pool in a serial manner and each of which includes a filtration structure for filtering water from the aquatic bed. Riffle weir grade control structures are positioned between the aquatic beds and transition water overflowing from each upstream aquatic bed to a downstream aquatic bed. Accordingly, collected stormwater runoff traverses the series of aquatic beds and riffle weir grading structures and is treated and detained, thus, conveying stormwater to groundwater through infiltration.

SUPPLY ARM WITH BUILT-IN REGULATOR FOR SHOWER HEAD
20210108397 · 2021-04-15 ·

Shower arm with an integrated regulator for shower head, which is capable of controlling the water flow that exits from the shower head via the regulator bolt with lever inserted in the body of the regulator. This arm is connected to the water supply pipe of the shower room via a nipple connection that is attached to the shower arm based on a metallic tube that, at its other end, incorporates a nipple union in which the body of the water flow regulator is attached. The regulator bolt allows you to reduce the water flow to the maximum and, because of its type of coupling, it is expressly designed to receive the Spherical Shower Head which is the object of international patent application PCT/MX/2018/000032 and that, via a standard universal male thread adapter, any shower head can be fitted. Both, the adapter and the shower head, maintain airtightness due to the seal gaskets placed in the circular slot of the regulator body and in the corresponding circular slot of the universal adapter, avoiding the use of seal tape.
