A shaft power plant for generating electricity by energy conversion of an outflow between upper water and lower water in a river includes at least two power plant modules, each having a vertical shaft with an open top and a shaft crown forming an inflow plane. The inflow plane is substantially parallel with the river bed and extends below a water level of the upper water. Each of the power plant modules also has a turbine generator unit arranged in the shaft. The power plant also includes an ecological connecting channel formed as an outflow from the upper water into the lower water without generating electricity by energy conversion.

A water-replenishing fishway with an adaptively-adjusted floating dock is provided. The fishway body is excavated with a sliding groove fitting with the sliding block, a first spring is arranged between the sides of the sliding groove and the sliding block, and the bottom of the sliding block is articulated with a roller, which is in contact with the surface of the moving plate of the adjusting structure.

A method for delineating an ecological corridor based on a maximum similarity model determines ecosystem type according to the determined ecological source, and assigns a habitat suitability index; and according to a maximum similarity matrix between different ecosystems, assigns the habitat suitability index to peripheral pixels of the selected ecological source, to obtain a similar value of the habitat suitability index. The habitat suitability index is corrected according to the surface curvature data and population density data, and resistance surface data is calculated according to the corrected value. Based on the resistance surface data, an ecological corridor is delineated comprehensively to find one or more paths corresponding to a minimum cost distance as ecological corridors. The influence of ecological environment on ecological corridor establishment is considered more comprehensively, so that the ecological corridor is delineated more accurately, and applied into practice to maximum extent.

There is provided a system and method for managing fish migration in a body of water in the vicinity of an artificial or natural barrier. The system including a source of saturated water, where the saturated water is water having a dissolved gas level that is higher than that in the body of water. The system also includes outlets in fluid communication with the source of saturated water, each outlet being positioned at a predetermined position in the body of water to eject the saturated water into the predetermined position. The system further includes a pump in fluid communication with the source of saturated water and the outlets for moving the saturated water from the source to the one or more outlets, wherein flow of the saturated water into the body of water raises the dissolved gas level at the predetermined positions, thereby drawing the fish towards the predetermined positions.
