Fluid collection assemblies, systems including the same, and methods of using the same are disclosed herein. An example fluid collection assembly includes a fluid impermeable barrier having a proximal surface and a distal surface opposite the proximal surface. The proximal surface defines an opening. The fluid collection assembly also includes at least one inflation device. The inflation device includes a bladder. The bladder may be adjacent to the distal surface of the fluid impermeable barrier or between a conduit disposed in the chamber and the distal surface. The bladder is configured to switch between a first state and at least a second state. A volume of the bladder is greater when the bladder is the second state than when the bladder is in the first state. Switching the bladder between the first and second states changes a curvature of the at least a portion of the fluid collection assembly.

Sanitary article with removable lateral and/or end portions

A sanitary article comprises a longitudinal main body bounded by a perimeter defining opposite ends and opposite lateral margins and comprising a body contacting surface and an opposite outer surface. At least one removable portion extends from at least one segment of the perimeter. A tear line is defined between at least one removable portion and the at least one segment for providing selective detachment therebetween. The at least one segment of the perimeter is positioned at an opposite end and/or an opposite lateral margin.

A sanitary article comprises a main body comprising a top and bottom sides and an absorbent core therebetween surrounded and bounded by a core border formed in the top and bottom sides. The top side defines a body contacting surface within the core border. The bottom side defines an undergarment contacting surface within the core border. A main body contour extends beyond the core border and is surrounded and bounded by a sealed main body perimeter defining opposite main body longitudinal ends and opposite main body lateral sides. Each main body lateral side having front and rear portions thereof and a middle portion therebetween. A respective tear line is defined between the inner lateral part of each one of the pair of wings and the middle portion. When a sufficient tearing force is applied to the tear line thereby a wing is fully removed from the main body without physical integrity disturbance of the sealed perimeter at each of the middle portions.
