20210054616 · 2021-02-25 ·

A low-emittance material having improved energy efficiency protection against air infiltration and moisture build-up in buildings is disclosed. The aforementioned low-emittance material utilizes existing framing openings or without increasing the wall profile of a building. The present invention provides a low-emittance material which may be implemented on traditional 24 framing having R-15 mass insulation material within existing or newly constructed framing cavities. The material of the present invention also meets requirements for serving as a water resistive barrier as defined by ICC AC38.

PARTITION WALL STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING SAME

A partition wall has a structure with a wall end portion butted against another building structure and exposed to architectural spaces. An end post at the end portion of the wall is constituted from first and second end post elements, which are spaced apart from each other, so that a gap or an isolation zone interrupting a propagation of a solid vibration or insulating a path for propagating the solid vibration is formed between the first and second elements. An interior finishing panel for defining the architectural space on one side of the wall is fixed to the first element and the interior finishing panel for defining the architectural space on an opposite side of the wall is fixed to the second element.

STRUCTURAL BODY
20210063034 · 2021-03-04 ·

A structural body includes a refrigerant between a first plate and a second plate. A circulation structural part between the first and second plates includes a reservoir portion provided on a first plate side. In the circulation structural part, the refrigerant from the reservoir portion which has evaporated due to heat of the first plate side reaches a second plate side, condenses on the second plate side and is returned to the reservoir portion again. A temperature sensitive mechanism is in a first state when a temperature of the first plate side is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature to allow refrigerant circulation, and is in a second state different from the first state when the temperature is lower than the predetermined temperature to prohibit the refrigerant circulation.

Methods for cooling the interior of an enclosure

Heat exchanger assemblies and methods are provided for cooling the interior of an enclosure (e.g., electrical cabinets, computer server racks, chemical chambers, and animal cages). Heat is transferred via thermal conduction from a first plurality of surfaces positioned inside the enclosure to a second plurality of surfaces positioned outside the enclosure. The first and second plurality of surfaces remain in thermal contact with one another during use. Heat is dissipated from the second plurality of surfaces to the ambient air outside the isolated environment without the ambient outside air mixing together with the air inside the enclosure. This, in turn, inexpensively removes heat from the air inside the enclosure and prevents contaminants from entering the enclosure.

SPECIAL T-SHAPED COLUMN SHEAR WALL MODULE, SHEAR WALL AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

A T-shaped shear wall module including a straight pattern plate, two L-shaped pattern plates with a same structure, and connectors. Each of the two L-shaped pattern plates includes a first pattern plate and a second pattern plate which are perpendicular to each other. In a direction perpendicular to the straight pattern plate, the two first pattern plates are arranged in parallel to each other and both extend in a direction away from the straight pattern plate, and a plurality of connectors are rigidly arranged between two first pattern plates. Along a direction parallel to the straight pattern plate, two second pattern plates are coplanar and extend in opposite directions, and a plurality of connectors are rigidly arranged between the straight pattern plate and the two second pattern plates. The present application also provides a shear wall and a construction method thereof.

The invention concerns thermally insulating materials comprising the aforementioned particles, a process for the preparation of these particles and materials obtained by incorporation of these particles into matrices. The present invention also concerns inorganic spherical and hollow inorganic particles with low apparent density imparting thermal properties to various types of matrices in which they are dispersed.

Wall assembly having a spacer

A wall assembly is manufactured for supporting an exterior coving of a structure. The wall assembly includes a frame assembly including a top member, a bottom member, and a plurality of vertical members extending between the top and bottom members. The vertical members are recessed from an exterior surface of the top and bottom members. A sheathing layer is coupled to the top and bottom members and is spaced from the plurality of vertical members thereby defining a gap. At least one spacer is coupled to at least one of the plurality of vertical members with the at least one spacer including an outer periphery. An insulating layer is disposed with the gap between the sheathing layer and the plurality of vertical members and encapsulates the outer periphery of the spacer.

Thermo-insulating concrete

The present invention refers to a new concrete composition comprising fiberglass waste and an air-entraining additive. The concrete presents a thermo-insulating performance far superior to conventionally produced concretes. The present invention is mainly intended for the construction industry, in non-structural applications for thermal insulation. The use of fiberglass waste reduces the consumption of natural aggregates and allows for the use of waste which is expense to dispose of.
