Configurable absorbent articles having improved bodily exudate separation and sampling
Configurable absorbent articles with improved bodily exudate separation and sampling are provided.
Absorbent Articles Comprising Elastics In The Crotch Region
An absorbent article may comprise front and back belts, each of the belts may comprise multiple elastic strands and multiple spacers. The absorbent article may also comprise multiple elastic strands and spacers in the crotch region
Absorbent articles and securement means
An absorbent article includes a chassis having a substantially rectangular shape a first portion, a second portion and a crotch portion extending between the first and second portion, a portion of the chassis being configured to absorb fluids. The absorbent article includes a first securement portion operatively coupled to the first portion of the chassis. The absorbent article includes a second securement portion operatively coupled to the second portion of the chassis and configured to releasably attach to the first securement portion. The chassis is configured to include one of a first chassis length or a second chassis length. When the chassis includes the first length, the chassis includes a first width and the first securement portion includes a second width, and when the chassis includes the second length, the chassis includes the first width and the first securement portion includes a third width, greater than the second width.
FLOOR CLEANER
A sweeping tool includes an elongated handle having a proximal end and a distal end, a bracket coupled to the distal end of the elongated handle, and a cleaning assembly coupled to the bracket. The cleaning assembly is designed to rotate about an axis passing through a portion of the bracket. The cleaning assembly includes a housing designed to hold a rotatable brush head and to collect debris swept up by the rotatable brush head. The cleaning assembly also includes a broom head coupled to the housing and a plurality of bristles coupled to the broom head.
SENSOR UNIT, ABSORBENT ARTICLE KIT, AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE PACKAGE
A sensor unit for an absorbent article includes: a urine change-detection unit that detects a change in color of a urine indicator that visually changes a color on contact with urine; and a feces change-detection unit that detects a change in color of a feces indicator that visually changes a color on contact with feces.
Absorbent articles with different types of channels
An absorbent article has a front side, a back side, a longitudinal axis and includes a liquid permeable topsheet on the wearer-facing side, a liquid impermeable backsheet on the garment-facing side, and an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes a core wrap having a top side and a bottom side, an absorbent material having a deposition area between the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap, and at least two channels substantially free of absorbent material within the deposition area. In a first type of channels, the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are bonded to each other. In a second type of channels, the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are not bonded or are less bonded to each other than in the first type of channels.
Absorbent article with channels and method for manufacturing thereof
A method for manufacturing an absorbent article, said method comprising guiding a first sheet material along a rotating member, wherein a surface of said rotating member is provided with a pattern with at least one suction zone and at least one non-suction zone; applying an absorbent material on said first sheet material on the rotating member; locally removing the absorbent material applied on at least one attachment portion of the first sheet material located above the at least one non-suction zone, such that at least one remaining portion of the first sheet material located above the at least one suction zone is covered with absorbent material and substantially no absorbent material is present on the at least one attachment portion; applying a second sheet material on top of the absorbent material on the first sheet material.
Absorbent articles having fully removable fastening members
An absorbent article includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region, and a fully removable fastening member configured to join a portion of the first waist region to the second waist region. The fastening member includes a first end region comprising a first end, a second end region comprising a second end, a first fastener on a first surface of the fastening member and in the first end region, and a second fastener on the first surface and in the second end region. The fastening member includes a grasp region either partially laterally outboard of the first fastener or laterally outboard of the first fastener in the first end region. The grasp region has a different physical property than a remainder of the fastening member.
ATTACHABLE-TYPE DISPOSABLE WEARING ARTICLE
The problem is to provide excellent slipping-down preventive property with a simpler structure. This problem is solved by an attachable-type disposable wearing article configured so that, in the natural length state, as the unfixed area 52 contracts, a pair of side areas 60 of the end flap EF positioned lateral to the unfixed area 52 are obliquely drawn closer as they extend backward, which results in formation of transverse portion 62 extending in the width direction WD at the back edge of intermediate area 61 located between the pair of side areas 60, while obliquely backward portions 63 are formed at the back edges of the side areas 60 positioned more backward as they extend laterally, and in the spread state, the back edge of the end flap EF extends along the width direction WD over the extent including from one of the obliquely backward portions 63 to the other.
Absorbent articles with different types of channels
An absorbent article has a front side, a back side, a longitudinal axis, a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes a first type of channels, wherein the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are bonded to another, and a second type of channels, wherein the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are not bonded or are less bonded to one another in this second type of channels than in the first type of channels. The absorbent material may also include cellulose and superabsorbent particles.
