A multiple-layer undergarment to aid toilet training that provides a child with a sensation of wetness, but protects the child's outer garments from being saturated. The undergarment has an inner fabric layer that retains wetness to produce the uncomfortable sensation for the child after urinating in the undergarment. The undergarment has an absorbent layer sandwiched between two fabric layers that absorbs the excess wetness, the absorbent layer selectively having a barrier layer preventing urine from soaking through to the child's outer garments. In one embodiment, the undergarment has a channel extending from a front waistband, through a crotch to a back waistband for inserting an absorbent panel. In another embodiment, the undergarment has an absorbent insert attached by a plurality of adhesive strips between two fabric underwear. In one embodiment, the undergarment has a channel for inserting an absorbent panel attached by at least one adhesive strip.

A washable and reusable absorbent undergarment includes an absorbent assembly, including a wearer facing top layer, a moisture barrier layer, and at least two intermediate layers between the top layer and the moisture barrier, wherein the absorbent assembly is permanently attached to at least one out of the one or more of fabric panels in at least part of the intermediate region by a set of one or more bonding members wherein, in a front intermediate region of the undergarment, a maximum front bond width as measured transversally over the set of bonding members between the absorbent assembly and the one or more fabric panels is no more than 11 cm.

The present disclosure generally relates to an absorbent pad for use in a garment and a garment having the absorbent pad. The absorbent pad includes a liquid impermeable barrier layer; a functional assembly attached to the barrier layer; and a peripheral assembly attached to a periphery of the functional assembly, at least part of the peripheral assembly being liquid impermeable. The functional assembly includes an absorbent layer attached to the barrier layer, the absorbent layer for absorbing liquid; and a wicking layer attached to the absorbent layer. The wicking layer is arranged to face towards a skin of a user when in use. The wicking layer transfers liquid to the absorbent layer. The wicking layer and the absorbent layer are attached at a plurality of discrete points between them to facilitate liquid transfer from the wicking layer to the absorbent layer via areas around the discrete points.

An absorbent article includes a belt placed around the waist of the wearer and an absorbent pad attached to the belt, wherein the pad includes a chassis having a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core, wherein the absorbent pad is attached to a surface of the belt attaching arrangements provided on each corner of the front portion and the rear portion of the pad, wherein the waist elastic is provided at the waist portion of at least one of the front and rear portion and is movable between a contracted condition in which the topsheet and/or backsheet exhibit(s) pleats and a fully stretched condition in which the pleats of the topsheet and/or backsheet are fully stretched out, wherein the elastic force from said waist elastic is within the range of from 2 N to 7 N when the elastic is in the fully stretched condition.

An incontinence underwear includes an interior layer includes an excretion area, where the excretion area includes one or more openings configured to drain excretions of a user away from the interior layer; a middle layer configured to house an excretion collection unit, configured to store the excretions from the interior layer, and the middle layer further includes a feces sensing unit configured to detect feces discharged from the user; a feces monitoring module electrically coupled to the feces sensing unit, configured to monitor the feces sensing unit and communicate status of the feces sensing unit to one or more caregivers; an exterior layer configured to conceal and prevent leakage from the middle layer of the incontinence underwear; and a support frame configured to hold the interior layer, the middle layer and the exterior layer of the incontinence underwear together.

A diaper comprising front end and rear end portions and a middle portion therebetween. The middle portion comprises an inner base and a pocket structure comprising a pair of space apart of lateral sheets covering a portion of the inner base and rear skirt extending forwardly covering a portion of the inner base. The configurable pad includes a first section and a second section, the second section separated from the first section at least partially by a folding guide. The configurable pad has an unfolded pad plan surface area comprising an unfolded pad width when the reusable absorbent insert is in an unfolded, flat-out configuration. The pad collection sleeve has an unfolded sleeve plan surface area including an unfolded sleeve width when the reusable absorbent insert is in an unfolded, flat-out configuration. The unfolded pad width is greater than or substantially equal to the unfolded sleeve width.
