Absorbent articles with frangible pathways and disposal features
The present disclosure relates to diaper pants having a first belt and a second belt with one or more frangible pathways. A frangible pathway may extend between inner edge and outer edges of a belt. A grip region comprising an accessibility opening may be positioned between the inner and outer edges of the belt. The frangible pathway may comprise a first tear zone and a second tear zone extending from the accessibility opening to a distal terminus and to a proximal terminus. Such frangible pathway configurations provide a feature that allows a belt of a diaper pant to be relatively easily torn along the frangible pathway. Once torn along the frangible pathway, the diaper pant may be removed from a wearer and rolled up for disposal. A fastener component may be connected with another portion of the diaper pant to help maintain the diaper pant in a disposal configuration.
Absorbent articles and methods and apparatuses for making absorbent articles with frangible pathways
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles including elastic laminates, and more particularly, to methods and apparatuses for making absorbent articles having elastic laminates in front and/or back waist regions with frangible pathways.
Underpants-type disposable wearing article
Underpants-type disposable wearing articles are provided wherein transverse tearing is hard to develop at a stacked sheet number change part in the outer member. This problem is solved by an underpants-type disposable wearing article, in which cuts 61 each extending longitudinally across a stacked sheet number change part 62 where the number of stacked sheets constituting the outer member 20 varies are formed adjacent on the central side in the width direction of a side seal 21 formed by joining the front and body sections together along the opposed lateral portions, and which is free of a perforated line formed from the waist opening toward the leg opening.
Disposable absorbent product
A disposable absorbent product includes first welds that slope downward toward an outer side in a width direction, second welds that slope downward toward the outer side in the width direction, and third welds that slope upward toward the outer side in the width direction. A weld group includes one first weld, one second weld, and one third weld that are adjacent to each other in the width direction. An upper end of the third weld is located downward with respect to an upper end of the second weld, the upper end of the second weld is located downward with respect to an upper end of the first weld, a lower end of the second weld is located downward with respect to a lower end of the first weld, and an extension line extending outward in the width direction from the second weld intersects with the third weld.
Absorbent articles with frangible pathways
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles having a first belt and a second belt with one or more frangible pathways. A frangible pathway may extend between a proximal terminus on an inner edge of a belt and a distal terminus on an outer edge of the belt. A grip region comprising an accessibility opening may be positioned between the inner and outer edges of the belt. The frangible pathway may comprise a first tear zone and a second tear zone extending from the accessibility opening to the distal terminus and to the proximal terminus. Such frangible pathway configurations provide a feature that allows a belt of a diaper pant to be relatively easily torn along the frangible pathway when removing the diaper pant from a wearer. The frangible pathway may be configured to allow a caregiver to initiate and/or completely tear the first belt with one hand.
Disposable wearing article
A disposable wearing article that is easy to tear along the side seals with transverse ripping hardly occurring upon taking off the article. The disposable wearing article has side seals, each of which has a first line of first melt bonded areas and non-melt-bonded areas alternately arranged in the front-back direction, each of the first melt-bonded areas having a shape elongated in the front-back direction, the first line being positioned on the innermost side in the width direction of the side seal, and a second line of second melt-bonded areas arranged at intervals in the front-back direction, each of the second melt-bonded areas having a shape elongated in the front-back direction, the second line being positioned adjacent outward in the width direction of the first line with a non-melt-bonded zone intervening therebetween, the non-melt-bonded zone extending continuously in the front-back direction.
Absorbent articles with frangible pathways with simultaneously propagating tear zones
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles including a first belt and a second belt, the first belt and/or the second belt comprising one or more frangible pathways. The frangible pathway may comprise a first tear zone extending from an accessibility opening to a distal terminus, and a second tear zone extending from the accessibility opening to a proximal terminus. The diaper pant may also be configured such that a first tear line propagating along the first tear zone and a second tear line propagating along the second tear zone may reach the distal terminus and the proximal terminus, respectively, at the same time or about the same time.
Absorbent articles with frangible pathways adapted for tear propagation between regions of laminates having different numbers of layers of substrates
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles including a first belt and a second belt. The first belt and/or the second belt may comprise a first region and a second region, wherein the first region comprises a first number of layers of substrates and the second region comprises a second number of layers of substrates, wherein the first number of layers substrates is greater than second number of layers of substrates. In addition, the first belt and/or the second belt may comprise one or more frangible pathways comprising first lines of weakness positioned in the first region, second lines of weakness positioned in the second region, and at least one transition line of weakness extending partially through the first region and the second region.
Absorbent articles and methods for making absorbent articles with frangible pathways
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles including elastic laminates and to methods and apparatuses for making absorbent articles having elastic laminates in front and/or back waist regions with frangible pathways.
