APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRANSMISSION OF VEHICLE
An apparatus and a method for controlling a transmission of a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a determination device to determine whether to perform speed following control based on state information of a traffic light positioned on a road in front of the vehicle in coasting, a stop position predicting device to predict a stop position of the vehicle based on position information of the vehicle and the traffic light, a transmission stage decision device to determine a target position and a target speed based on the predicted stop position and to form a speed profile for each transmission stage to determine a final transmission stage based on the target position and the target speed, and a controller to perform speed following transmission control based on the final transmission stage.
Vehicle control device
The purpose of the present invention is to improve fuel efficiency during coasting by calculating, with high accuracy, travel resistance during coasting. This vehicle control device comprises: a first travel resistance acquisition unit that acquires a first travel resistance, which is determined on the basis of road information or external information; and a second travel resistance acquisition unit that acquires a second travel resistance, which is determined on the basis of the result of actual traveling of the vehicle. This vehicle control device determines the content of coasting travel control during traveling of the vehicle on the basis of the result of a comparison of the first travel resistance and the second travel resistance in a predetermined zone where the vehicle has actually traveled.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRANSMISSION OF VEHICLE
An apparatus for controlling a transmission of a vehicle includes: a determination device that decides whether to perform a forward vehicle-based deceleration tracking control, based on information of the vehicle and a forward vehicle, when the vehicle starts to coast; a calculation device that calculates a target velocity and a target distance based on a position and a velocity of the forward vehicle, when the forward vehicle-based deceleration tracking control is decided to be performed; a gear position decision device that constructs deceleration profiles for respective gears and decides a final gear based on the target velocity and the target distance calculated; and a controller that controls the transmission based on the final gear.
Control device of vehicle
A control device of a vehicle including an engine, an auxiliary machine driven by rotation of the engine, and an engagement device selectively connecting and disconnecting a power transmission path between the engine and drive wheels comprises: a coasting control portion for selectively providing a first coasting control for allowing the vehicle to coast with the engine brought into a drive state while the power transmission path is disconnected by release of the engagement device, and a second coasting control for allowing the vehicle to coast with the engine brought into a stop state while the power transmission path is connected. If a load of the auxiliary machine is equal to or greater than a predetermined load and a vehicle speed is equal to or greater than a predetermined vehicle speed when a predetermined coasting start condition is satisfied, the coasting control portion provides the first coasting control.
METHOD OF DETERMINING TRANSMISSION OUTPUT TORQUE
A method of controlling a transmission includes determining a transmission kinematic state based on a commanded transmission gear range, a transmission input speed, and a transmission output speed, determining a transmission input torque, determining a first rotational acceleration of a first portion of the transmission rotationally disposed at a first reference point in the transmission, determining a second rotational acceleration of a second portion of the transmission rotationally disposed at a second reference point in the transmission, and determining a transmission output torque as a sum of a gear ratio of the commanded transmission gear range multiplied by the transmission input torque, a first aggregate inertia multiplied by the first rotational acceleration, and a second aggregate inertia multiplied by the second rotational acceleration, wherein the first and second aggregate inertias are based on the transmission kinematic state.
METHOD OF OPERATING A POWERTRAIN SYSTEM DURING COASTING OPERATION
A method of operating a powertrain system during coasting operation, wherein the powertrain system includes a driveline component (e.g., a transmission, drive shaft, differential, axle or wheel) having an output torque profile. The method includes: (i) determining a desired output torque transition profile for the driveline component between a first transition point before an end of a first state, and a second transition point after a beginning of a second state; and (ii) in response to a braking torque request, generating a friction braking torque command to operate a friction braking system, and adjusting the friction braking torque command during a transitional state between the first and second transition points by an amount corresponding to a difference between a magnitude of the output torque profile and a magnitude of the desired output torque transition profile.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COASTING GUIDE FUNCTION
A method for controlling a coasting guide function is provided. The method may include: detecting a speed limit and an average speed of a peripheral vehicle; detecting a valid speed limit when a coasting event occurs; and calculating a target speed by using a speed factor computed by using at least one of the valid speed limit, the average speed of the peripheral vehicle, or a current speed.
Speed control system for controlling the speed of a vehicle
A speed control system for controlling a speed of a vehicle to a predetermined target speed is provided, wherein in order to achieve and maintain the target speed, a control unit transmits corresponding control signals to a drive unit or a brake unit, and wherein the control unit is configured, during active speed control, to detect the end of a manually triggered temporary acceleration request, to detect the actual speed at the end of a manually triggered temporary acceleration request and to generate a signal to initiate a coasting mode if, after the ending of the manually triggered temporary acceleration request, the actual speed is greater than the predetermined target speed.
COASTING DRIVING CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A coasting driving control method and system for a vehicle may determine virtual engine RPM for a current driving state using engine RPM, vehicle speed, and gear stage information by a controller when coasting is started with the clutch in the neutral position and outputs a downshifting instruction signal for a gear stage by the controller when the virtual engine RPM is less than a coasting engine RPM which is greater than an idling RPM by a predetermined value.
