Disposable Training Diaper with Wetting-Point Vent
A disposable diaper especially constructed for the purpose of toilet training is disclosed. The diaper has conventional disposable diaper construction but also incorporates a wetting point vent that is an opening located so as to provide unimpeded egress of urine. This allow the diaper to be used as a step in a toilet training protocol in which the user, comfortable urinating in a diaper, is provided the comforting sensation of wearing a diaper while being acclimated to urinating in a toilet. Once acclimated to urinating in a toilet, the diaper is removed, and the user fully toilet trained. In a variant, the training diaper has a flap that covers the vent during normal use, but may be folded back reveal the vent during toilet training. In a further variant, there is a removable cover that conceals the vent during normal use but is removed for toilet training.

A portion of the front waist region and a portion of the back waist region are joined in a surface to surface relationship to form a pant comprising a first permanent side edge seam and a laterally opposed second permanent side edge seam. The first and second permanent side edge seams define an initial waist opening circumference and a pair of leg openings. The absorbent article comprises a first fastening component comprising a first fastening surface and a first attachment surface. The absorbent article comprises a second fastening component comprising a second fastening surface. The initial waist opening circumference formed by the first and second permanent side edge seams is configured to be opened. The first fastening surface and the second fastening surface are configured to be refastenably engaged and separated with each other.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES INCLUDING FRONT AND BACK WAIST PANELS WITH DIFFERENT STRETCH CHARACTERISTICS
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to absorbent articles with front and back waist panels having different stretch characteristics. A first waist panel may be connected with a chassis and positioned in a first waist region, and a second waist panel may be connected with the chassis and positioned in a second waist region. In some configurations, the first waist panel may comprise a first structural feature that is not included in the second waist panel or may comprise a first structural feature is different from a second structural feature included in the second waist panel. As such, the first structural feature provides different stretch characteristics between the first waist panel and the second waist panel.
REUSABLE DIAPER
A reusable diaper has an outer liquid resistant layer having a front waist portion, an elongated back waist portion and a crotch portion therebetween, an inner layer attached to the outer layer, and a plurality of first fasteners arranged along the front waist portion of the outer liquid resistant layer. The front waist portion is divided into a plurality of visually different sections each having at least one of the first fasteners thereon. Each section sandwiching a central section of the front waist portion can have a different color or surface pattern than that of the central section. Each section sandwiching that section and the central section therebetween has a still further different color or surface pattern. Each section corresponds to a predetermined diaper fitting size when one or more complementary second fasteners on ends of the elongated back waist portion engages a corresponding ones of the front waist portion first fasteners.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH CURVED ELASTICIZED LAMINATES
Absorbent articles having curved elasticized laminates and apparatuses and methods for forming such articles are disclosed. In one embodiment, an absorbent article having a front waist region, a crotch region, and a rear waist region may comprise a chassis comprising bodyside liner, an outer cover, an absorbent body. The article may further comprise a pair of elasticized laminates attached to the chassis to form elasticized leg cuffs. Each of the first pair of elasticized laminates may comprise a laminate material forming a fold and an elastomeric member disposed between the laminate material. Each of the first pair of elasticized laminates may be attached to the chassis such that the fold comprises an outermost longitudinal edge of the article throughout the crotch region, and the fold and the elastomeric member of each of the elasticized laminates may extend in a curving manner throughout the crotch region.
