A trash can having an easy-to-assemble lid and a decorative ring, including a trash can body and a lid in a split-type design. The lid is arranged at an opening of the body, and can flip with respect to the body. The lid is configured to cover the opening of the body. The trash can further includes a connecting part at the opening of the body. The connecting part is in snap-fit connection with the lid, and is capable of flipping with respect to the body to drive the lid to flip with respect to the body.

AUXILIARY POWER SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC REFUSE VEHICLE

A refuse vehicle including a chassis a body assembly coupled to the chassis, the body assembly defining a refuse compartment, an electric energy system, and an auxiliary power system comprising a reservoir to hold a hydraulic fluid, and a hydraulic pump powered by an electric motor, wherein the hydraulic pump pressurizes the hydraulic fluid to power one or more actuators, and wherein at least one of the electric energy system or the auxiliary power system is configured to provide power to a carry can.

BATTERY PLACEMENT FOR ELECTRIC REFUSE VEHICLE

A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body, and a plurality of battery cells. The chassis includes a right frame member and a left frame member spaced apart in a lateral direction and extending lengthwise in a longitudinal direction. The body is coupled to the chassis. The plurality of battery cells are longitudinally disposed along the chassis, positioned between the right frame member and the left frame member.

System and method for electronic power take-off controls

A refuse vehicle includes a chassis supporting a plurality of wheels, a battery supported by the chassis and configured to provide electrical power to a first motor, and an electric power take-off system coupled to the vehicle body. The electric power-take-off system includes a second motor configured to convert electrical power received from the battery into hydraulic power, an inverter configured to provide electrical power to the second motor from the battery, a heat dissipation device coupled to the inverter, a first sensor configured to detect thermal energy within the inverter, and a controller configured to receive data from the first sensor and provide operating parameters to the heat dissipation device, wherein the controller is further configured to determine if the data from the first sensor is greater than a critical operating condition and shut down the electric power take-off system in response.

BATTERY STORAGE SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC REFUSE VEHICLE

A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body assembly, and battery cells. The body assembly is coupled to the chassis and defines a refuse compartment. The battery cells are positioned between the body assembly and the chassis.

Battery placement for electrified vehicle

An electrified vehicle includes a chassis and a plurality of battery cells positioned along the chassis. The chassis includes a right frame member and a left frame member spaced apart in a lateral direction. The right frame member and the left frame member both include vertical portions, first end portions extending from first ends of the vertical portions towards each other, and second end portions extending from second ends of the vertical portions towards each other. The right frame member and the left frame member are configured to support a cab and a body. The right frame member and the left frame member extend lengthwise in a longitudinal direction. The plurality of battery cells are coupled with the right frame member and the left frame member by fasteners that couple with the vertical portions of the right frame member and the left frame member.

Waste receptacle

A waste cart includes a base housing; a center upright having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the proximal end is secured to the base housing; a top housing secured to the distal end of the center upright, wherein the top housing has two or more disposal openings for two or more separate disposal portions including, a first waste portion which has a first metal detector and an indicator for providing a notification when a metal item passes through the opening; and a second waste portion which includes a second metal detector and an indicator for providing a notification when a metal item passes through the opening; an electronics module which operates each metal detector independently; and an alarm indicator operationally associated with the electronics module which is activated when the electronics module detects the passage of a metal item through an opening into a waste portion.

A flip trash can, including: a trash can body for containing trash, a lid, a locking member, a clamping piece on the locking member, a clamping portion on the lid and a flip-limiting structure. The lid and the locking member are hingedly connected to an opening of the trash can body, and arranged coaxially through the hinged shaft. The clamping piece is matched with the clamping portion. The clamping piece is configured to engage with or disengage from the clamping portion to respectively realize engagement and disengagement between the lid and the locking member. The flip-limiting structure is connected to the locking member to drive the locking member to turn over relative to the trash can body, thereby driving the lid to turn over relative to the trash can body.

BATTERY STORAGE SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIFIED VEHICLE

An electrified vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis at a front end thereof, a body assembly coupled to the chassis, and an energy storage system including a plurality of battery cells. The body assembly is positioned behind the cab with a space defined therebetween. The energy storage system is positioned within the space between the chassis and the body assembly.
