This invention relates to a surface finish manufacturing system and process and more particularly, but not exclusively, to a contrast surface finish manufacturing system and process for producing boards with a wood texture finish. The surface finish manufacturing system comprises a top layer and a bottom layer where part of the top layer is removed to expose part of the bottom layer.
METHOD AND MODULE CONTROLLER FOR CONTROLLING A POWER PRODUCING SYSTEM
A module controller and a method for controlling operation of power producing modules in a power producing system are provided. The module controller comprises a processor and a memory, configured to store instructions, which when executed by the processor performs the method by causing the module controller to identify each power producing module connected to the module controller, retrieve a control logic for and associated with each of the identified power producing modules, determining the order in which the power producing modules are to be controlled by the module controller, allocate processor time to each power producing module and control the operation of each power producing module by executing, in the processor, the associated control logic.

This evaluation device comprises: a mathematical model acquisition unit that acquires a mathematical model expressing the state of a power storage element; an operation data acquisition unit that acquires operation data which includes time-series input data input during operation of a system constructed on the basis of the numerical model, and time-series output data output by the system on the basis of the time-series input data; a processing unit that inputs the time-series input data to the numerical model and executes processing causing time-series model output data to be output from the numerical model; and an evaluation unit that evaluates the design and the operation of the system on the basis of the time-series output data and the time-series model output data.
Energy control and generation method and system
A method and system of controlling the time dependent transfer of electrical power between a first electrical network and a second electrical network is disclosed. The first electrical network is operable to provide instantaneous electrical power to the second electrical network located at a location, the second electrical network includes electrical generating capacity at the location based on stored energy accessible at the location. The method and system involves receiving at the second electrical network pricing information from the first electrical network, the pricing information associated with the future supply of electrical power by the first electrical network to the second electrical network and then modifying substantially in real time the transfer of electrical power between the first and second electrical networks in accordance with the pricing information and the electricity demand characteristics of the location.
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for protecting and controlling a microgrid with a dynamic boundary
Methods, systems, and computer readable mediums for protecting and controlling a microgrid with a dynamic boundary are disclosed. One method includes detecting a fault in a microgrid that includes a dynamic point-of-common-coupling (PCC), in response to determining that the microgrid is operating in a grid-connected mode, isolating the fault by tripping a microgrid side smart switch and a grid side smart switch that are located immediately adjacent to the fault, initiating the reclosing of the grid side smart switch, and initiating the reclosing for the microgrid side smart switch via resynchronization if the grid side smart switch is successfully reclosed, and in response to determining that the microgrid is operating in an islanded mode, isolating the fault by tripping a microgrid side smart switch that is located immediately adjacent to the fault, and initiating the reclosing of the microgrid side smart switch.
Site controllers of distributed energy resources
The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for economically optimal control of an electrical system. Some embodiments employ generalized multivariable constrained continuous optimization techniques to determine an optimal control sequence over a future time domain in the presence of any number of costs, savings opportunities (value streams), and constraints. Some embodiments also include control methods that enable infrequent recalculation of the optimal setpoints. Some embodiments may include a battery degradation model that, working in conjunction with the economic optimizer, enables the most economical use of any type of battery. Some embodiments include techniques for load and generation learning and prediction. Some embodiments include consideration of external data, such as weather.
Microgrid control system and microgrid
Provided in the present invention are a microgrid control system and a microgrid, the microgrid control system comprising: a grid-connected switch, an energy router, a first controller and a second controller; the first controller controls the grid-connected switch and sends a first control instruction; the second controller receives the first control instruction and responds to the first control instruction for controlling the energy router.
Recovered electric power measuring system and method for collecting data from a recovered electric power measuring system
Apparatus and methods for recovering energy in a petroleum, petrochemical, or chemical plant as described. The invention relates to a recovered electric power measuring system comprising at least one processor; at least one memory storing computer-executable instructions; and at least one receiver configured to receive data from a sensor on an electrical powerline connected to a generator of a power-recovery turbine, the power-recovery turbine located in a petroleum, petrochemical, or chemical process zone wherein a portion of a first process stream flows through the power-recovery turbine and generates recovered electric power as direct current, the power-recovery turbine electrically connected to a single DC to AC inverter and the output of the DC to AC inverter electrically connected to a first substation.
ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM AND RELATED METHOD
An example energy storage system and a related method are disclosed. In the energy storage system, a controller obtains information about user equipment, and then controls a converter and a battery group based on the information about the user equipment, to supply electric energy to an electric device or receive electric energy from a power sourcing device. In this way, the energy storage system can provide reasonable power scheduling, thereby improving utilization of the energy storage system.
Microgrid power flow monitoring and control
A microgrid power flow monitoring and control system is described herein. The control system may determine active and reactive power sharing shortage on the electric power delivery system. The control system may utilize the control strategies of generation units, such as ISO control, droop control and constant power control to estimate power flow within a microgrid or other isolated system. A control strategy of one or more generators may be modified based on the determined power flow.
