The pad is integral to the brief and disposed on an inner layer of the brief in an interspace between the leg holes. The first-wing and the second-wing are configured to wrap around an abdominal region of a woman and secure the compression member in a wrapped-condition. The compression member causes direct compression to the abdominal region of the woman when the brief is worn. The brief is absorbent and disposable for use in postpartum stages.

The first and the second elastic components each comprise a plurality of elastic elements extending at least partly along each respective article. The first and second elastic components differ from each other in at least the positioning or the elastic strength of the respective elastic elements. A method for manufacturing the array is also disclosed.
