An absorbent extender tab insert that may be used with a diaper or incontinent article via a nylon hook component. The absorbent extender tab insert prevents leakage of bodily fluids beyond the existing structure of the diaper or incontinent article. The absorbent extender tab insert can attach and re-attach as needed and is washable and reusable in certain embodiments. Moreover, the absorbent extender tab insert can be placed at the front of, back of or on side of diaper as needed to prevent leakage of bodily fluids.

The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles including a first belt and a second belt, the first belt and/or the second belt comprising one or more frangible pathways. The frangible pathway may comprise a first tear zone extending from an accessibility opening to a distal terminus, and a second tear zone extending from the accessibility opening to a proximal terminus. The diaper pant may also be configured such that a first tear line propagating along the first tear zone and a second tear line propagating along the second tear zone may reach the distal terminus and the proximal terminus, respectively, at the same time or about the same time.

The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles including a first belt and a second belt, the first belt and/or the second belt comprising one or more frangible pathways. A method for producing absorbent sanitary articles, including: advancing in a machine direction a continuous composite tape comprising a first elastic band and a second elastic band, folding said continuous composite tape around a longitudinal axis parallel to the machine direction, cutting second connection zones of the second elastic band with two cuts spaced apart from each other, removing scrap portions of the second elastic band between said cuts, cutting first connection zones of the first elastic band, and folding in opposite directions portions of the first connection zone and overlapping end edges of the first connection zone to corresponding end edges of the second connection zone.

A method for producing absorbent sanitary articles, including: advancing in a machine direction a continuous composite tape comprising a first elastic band and a second elastic band, folding said continuous composite tape around a longitudinal axis parallel to the machine direction, cutting second connection zones of the second elastic band with two cuts spaced apart from each other, removing scrap portions of the second elastic band between said cuts, cutting first connection zones of the first elastic band, and folding in opposite directions portions of the first connection zone and overlapping end edges of the first connection zone to corresponding end edges of the second connection zone.

A low-weight infant diaper has a longitudinal direction and a width direction that intersect each other. The low-weight infant diaper includes: an exterior sheet disposed closer to a non-skin side than an absorbent body; and a belt including a first locking member on a first side in the width direction and a second locking member on a second side opposite to the first side in the width direction. The belt is locked to a non-skin side of the exterior sheet by the first locking member. The belt includes a first additional joining portion that causes a part of the belt to join the exterior sheet. The first additional joining portion is disposed in a region in the first side.

An array of packages comprising two or more different sizes of absorbent articles, the array comprising first, second, and third packages comprising first, second, and third absorbent articles having at least first and second sizes. The first, second, and third articles may have an insert length to rise ratio greater than 60%. And, the first, second, and third packages may comprise the same brand name and sub-brand name. The absorbent articles may also comprise a wetness guard.

Configurable absorbent articles are provided. The absorbent articles may comprise a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent articles may comprise a first waist region, a second waist region, a crotch region extending intermediate the first waist region and the second waist region, and an outer cover material joined to the backsheet and forming a portion of a garment-facing surface of the absorbent article.
