FUNCTIONAL DIAPER
20210353474 · 2021-11-18 · ·

The present invention relates to a functional diaper, which can be worn by a baby or a patient and comprises a body having, therein, an excrement storage part, which is a space for gathering excrement, wherein the upper part of the excrement storage part has an excrement entrance that allows excrement to enter therein and exit therefrom. The present invention allows urine or excrement to be immediately and separably stored in a separate space of the diaper immediately after coming out of the anus such that there is little odor and excrement does not come in contact with the skin, and thus the present invention prevents bedsores and the like and is remarkably clean and sanitary.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH WAIST CONTAINMENT MEMBER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF

An absorbent article (10, 110, 210) can include a waist containment member (54) with a first longitudinal side edge (72), a second longitudinal side edge (74), a proximal portion (76), and a distal portion (78). A fold (79a) can separate the proximal portion (76) from the distal portion (78). The proximal portion (76) can be coupled to the chassis (11) and the distal portion (78) can be configured to freely move with respect to the chassis (11) when the absorbent article (10, 110, 210) is in a relaxed configuration to provide a containment pocket (82). The absorbent article (10, 110, 210) can include a pair of containment flaps (50, 52). The containment flaps (50, 52) can each include a base portion (64) and a projection portion (66).

An absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region, and a crotch region disposed between the first and second waist regions; and a chassis having a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core. The article also includes a waist feature having a portion extending longitudinally outboard of the chassis in the waist region. The backsheet includes a barrier layer having a maximum length, L.sub.BS. The absorbent core has absorbent material and a maximum length, L.sub.CW. L.sub.CW is substantially the same as L.sub.BS. The absorbent material is disposed in an absorbent material deposition area. The absorbent material deposition area has a maximum length, L.sub.AB, and L.sub.AB is about 90% or greater of L.sub.BS. The first absorbent area lateral edge is disposed a longitudinal distance, D1, from the first barrier lateral edge, and D1 is about 5% or less of L.sub.BS.
