The leg gasketing system may include an inner cuff and an outer cuff; the inner cuff may include an inner cuff folded edge and an inner cuff material edge and the outer cuff may include an outer cuff folded edge and an outer cuff material edge such that the web of material is folded laterally inward to form the outer cuff folded edge and folded laterally outward to form the inner cuff folded edge. The leg gasketing system may also include a leg gasketing system pocket with an opening on an inboard longitudinal edge of the pocket.

The midsection includes a first antimicrobial membrane patch layer configured to contact a body, a second antimicrobial membrane patch layer disposed adjacent to the first antimicrobial patch layer, and an air gap disposed between the first patch and second antimicrobial patch layers. The first and second antimicrobial patch layers each are formed from respective balanced warp tows and fill tows in a plain-weave pattern, and each layer include copper filaments disposed in a plurality of the tows, each of the copper filaments including at least Cu+ or Cu+++ ions. Such a material may be suitable for notification and protection of a body from a soil deposited on the material.

A diaper configured for collection of a stool sample for an infant, and an associated method for collection, are disclosed. The diaper may include a backsheet including an effectively urine- and feces-impermeable material; a transverse perineal barrier including an effectively urine- and feces-impermeable material and having a proximal portion overlying the backsheet and sealingly connected to the diaper, and a free distal edge; and a liquid control structure disposed over the backsheet. The diaper may include additional features configured to receive a discharge of urine, isolate fecal material from urine, and facilitate collection of an intact stool sample following elimination.
