ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH COLORED TOPSHEET

An absorbent article has a wearer-facing side and a garment-facing side. The article also has a topsheet on the wearer-facing side; a backsheet; an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; an acquisition layer disposed between the absorbent core and the topsheet; and a visual signal viewable from the wearer-facing side of the absorbent article. The visual signal includes a color imparted to the acquisition layer. The article further comprises at least one channel disposed within the absorbent core that is substantially free of absorbent material; and a wetness indicator disposed on the backsheet and viewable from the garment-facing side of the absorbent article.

NONWOVEN LAMINATE

Disclosed is a nonwoven laminate having a texture for improved absorption and distribution of body liquids in sanitary products. The absorption and distribution effect is caused by perforations distributed in a pattern-like manner in combination with elevations present on one side of the nonwoven laminate.

Underpants-type disposable diaper having side seal sections with welded regions of differing densities

In a dot pattern, both sufficient strength during the use of a diaper and the ease of tearing can be achieved, while inhibiting sticking of fiber waste of a non-woven fabric in the sealing device. The problems can be solved by the underpants-type disposable diaper characterized by a side seal section 13 is formed in a dot pattern in which a plurality of rows of dot-shaped welded parts 13s, 13b, disposed with intervals in a vertical direction, are disposed in a transverse direction, and non-welded parts 13n, disposed all over in the transverse direction, are disposed on both sides of each welded part 13s, 13b, in the vertical direction; the side seal section 13 has at least partly in the vertical direction a non-densely welded region LD and a densely welded region HD; and each welded part 13b in the densely welded region HD is larger in area than each welded part 13s in the non-densely welded region LD.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL MATERIALS HAVING APERTURES

The present disclosure provides three-dimensional materials having apertures. The apertures in the three-dimensional materials may be formed in portions of a generally planar region and/or in at least some of a plurality of discrete integral second regions. The apertures may help in BM or other bodily fluid acquisition and retention.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL MATERIALS HAVING APERTURES

An absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable nonwoven topsheet, a nonwoven second material that is a separate material from the topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned intermediate the second material and the backsheet. The second material is positioned intermediate the topsheet and absorbent core. The topsheet is nested with the second material to form a nested laminate comprising a plurality of recesses and a plurality of raised areas. Voids are defined in the raised areas under the second material. A first aperture is formed in a substantially central location of the raised areas. The recesses each form a base positioned most distal from the substantially central locations of the raised areas. A second aperture is formed in the bases of the recesses. The first and second apertures extend through both the topsheet and second material.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH COLORED TOPSHEET

An absorbent article having a wearer-facing side and garment-facing side, the article comprising: a nonwoven topsheet on the wearer-facing side, wherein the topsheet has a first color which is not white and comprises thermal bonds; a backsheet on the garment facing-side; an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet; optionally an acquisition layer; and a visual signal disposed on the topsheet or a layer of the article under the topsheet; wherein the visual signal comprises a first portion having a first appearance and a second portion having a different second appearance. The topsheet has an opacity index of at least 28% as measured by the opacity index test as described herein and the visual signal is visible on the wearer-facing side of the article.

Absorbent Article

An absorbent article having improved handling of body exudates. The absorbent article can minimize the amount of body exudates in contact with a wearer's skin and can minimize the incidence of leakage of body exudates from the absorbent article.

Wearable article comprising an elastic belt laminate

A wearable article comprising an elastic laminate with an inner web and an outer web being in a face to face relationship, and a skin-facing outer surface and a garment-facing outer surface. The elastic laminate has a total caliper when subjected to the NMR MOUSE method as defined herein, the total caliper having a first 200 m sub-caliper corresponding to 200 m of the total caliper starting from the skin-facing outer surface and extending towards the garment-facing outer surface, and a last 200 m sub-caliper corresponding to 200 m of the total caliper starting from the garment-facing outer surface and extending towards the skin-facing outer surface. The elastic laminate has a % Liquid Ratio in the first 200 micron sub-caliper to total caliper of less than 20% after 1 minute according to the NMR MOUSE method.

Wearable article comprising an elastic laminate

Wearable article comprising an elastic laminate with excellent sweat management properties. The elastic laminate comprises a first web and a second web. The second web is formed of a first fibrous layer and a second fibrous layer, which are integrally combined with each other. The second fibrous layer may be more hydrophilic than the first fibrous layer, and/or the second fibrous layer may have higher average surface area per volume than the first fibrous layer.
