ABSORBENT ARTICLE

An absorbent article includes an absorbent core. The article has a central longitudinal axis and a central transverse axis extending perpendicular to said longitudinal axis, the absorbent article having a front end edge and a back end edge. The absorbent article has a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion. The absorbent core includes a coherent area disposed in at least the front portion and the crotch portion. The coherent area is in an absorbent component. The core cover includes a sealing arrangement for joining the upper and lower sides in the form of at least one sealed channel. The sealed channel is free or substantially free from absorbent material. The absorbent component includes oblong high density areas extending in the longitudinal direction at least in the front portion of the absorbent article.

ANTIODOR AND ANTIMICROBIAL LAYERS IN ABSORBENT MATERIALS

An AM/AV material, comprising a topsheet layer comprising fibers comprising a topsheet polymer composition, a backsheet layer comprising fibers comprising a backsheet polymer composition; and an absorbent core configured therebetween, wherein the fibers of at least one of the layers, e.g., the topsheet layer, comprise an AM/AV compound, and wherein the fibers of the topsheet layer demonstrate a rewet value less than 5 g after a first water application and/or a Staph aureus efficacy log reduction greater than 2.6, as measured in accordance with ISO 20743:2013.

The present disclosure includes absorbent products having an apertured zone in the surface facing the wearer for enhanced absorbency and BM containment. Some aspects of the products include a chassis including a topsheet defining a plurality of apertures, and a backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and an acquisition-distribution layer (ADL) disposed between the topsheet and the absorbent core, the ADL including a plurality of external edges that cooperate to define an ADL boundary. In some aspects at least 75% of the plurality of apertures are defined within an apertured region that is disposed vertically above the ADL and is enclosed within the ADL boundary when the chassis is in a flat configuration.

Provided are a composite sheet whose recess-protrusion shape can easily be made crush-resistant in a state that the soft feel against the skin is maintained, and a device and method for manufacturing said composite sheet. A first sheet has a curved part in which one surface thereof rises and the other surface thereof is recessed, and a boundary part adjacent to the curved part. A second sheet is joined to the boundary part of the first sheet so as to cover the other surface of the curved part. A region of the second sheet facing the curved part has a protruding part in which an inside surface on the first sheet side rises so as to approach the curved part and an outside surface on the reverse side thereof is recessed, and a flat part surrounding the periphery of the protruding part.
