Shaped nonwoven

A nonwoven fabric is provided. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, wherein at least one of the surfaces has a TS7 value of less than about 15 dB V.sup.2 rms, and wherein the first surface has a TS7 value that is higher than the second surface TS7 value.

Disposable hygiene article

The disclosure relates to a disposable hygiene article comprising an absorbent core which has first and second areas. The second area is located centrally in the middle portion of the article and extends longitudinally along a centre axis, transversally and symmetrically in a transverse direction towards each side edge of the core and in a thickness direction of the article. The second area protrudes outwards from a plane of the first area, and covers from 5-15% of a total area of the core. The first area surrounds the second area and covers the remainder of the total area of the core. The second area has grammage higher than grammage of the first area. The second area is integrated with the first area, and the second area is surrounded by a discontinuous embossing pattern which conforms to the shape of the second area of the core.

SENSOR FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLE

A sensor for monitoring wetness in a diaper or other absorbent article includes a housing that attaches to the absorbent article. The sensor may include inner and outer housing portions that capture an edge of the absorbent article between the housings. The sensor may include contacts that electrically connect with a pair of contact strips embedded in the absorbent article. The distance between the embedded strips may vary depending on the size of the absorbent article. The sensor may include multiple pairs of contacts that are spaced apart to match the distance between the contact strips for the variously sized absorbent articles. In this way, depending on the pair of contacts connected to the contact strips, the sensor may indicate the size of the absorbent article. The sensor may have a housing with a cavity and a lid that closes the cavity. The lid may be secured with a latch.

ABSORBENT STRUCTURE COMPRISING RELEASE STRUCTURE

An absorbent article comprising a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet, and an absorbent structure positioned in between said topsheet and said backsheet, wherein the absorbent structure comprises an absorbent core positioned in between the topsheet and the backsheet, a release structure being positioned in fluid communication with the absorbent core, said absorbent core comprising little to no cellulose fibers and/or fluff pulp and said absorbent core comprising an absorbent polymer material for absorbing and permanently holding fluids received from the topsheet and the release structure, wherein said release structure comprises at least one fibrous substrate structure having the capacity to receive and temporarily hold the fluids in proximity to the absorbent core so that the fluids can subsequently be transferred and released to and absorbed by the absorbent core.

PHYSIOLOGICAL PANTS

The physiological pants of the present invention comprise: a clothing layer, a waterproof layer, a water storage layer and a water-permeable layer; the clothing layer constructs a clothing; the waterproof layer is a surrounding wall to enclose the water storage space; the water-permeable layer and the water storage layer are arranged in the water storage space; wherein, the water-permeable layer includes a first layer body and a second layer body. The first layer body is formed with a plurality of first water-permeable holes, and the second layer body is formed with a plurality of second water-permeable holes smaller than the first water-permeable hole, so that a plurality of tapered holes are collectively formed inside the water-permeable layer by the first water-permeable hole and the second water-permeable hole, so as to prevent the liquid in the water storage layer from easily passing through the water-permeable layer when the water storage layer is squeezed.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE

An absorbent article that improves contact efficiency between a deodorant substance and an odor. The problem is solved by an absorbent article including an absorber and a liquid impervious resin film covering an outside of the absorber, in which a cellulose nanofiber layer is attached directly to a member outside the liquid impervious resin film, and the cellulose nanofiber layer can come into contact with an odor in an atmosphere outside the absorbent article.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH FUNCTION-FORMED TOPSHEET, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING

An absorbent article in the form of a feminine hygiene pad is disclosed. The article includes a topsheet formed of a section of formed nonwoven web material having an ordered arrangement of zones, each zone comprising one or more attenuated regions adjacent to one or more built-up regions, wherein the attenuated regions have a first average basis weight and the built-up regions have a second average basis weight. Through configuration of the regions and the ordered arrangement, inclusion of melt additive to the resin(s) from which the filaments are spun and/or application of a surfactant to a surface of the topsheet, the topsheet may be imparted with a Rewet of no greater than 0.50 g and an Acquisition Time of no greater than 25 seconds, balancing competing topsheet performance characteristics in a manner acceptable or preferable for consumers/users.

LOW-WEIGHT INFANT DIAPER

A low-weight infant diaper has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction that intersect each other. The low-weight infant diaper includes: an absorbent body including at least an absorbent core; an exterior sheet disposed closer to a non-skin side than the absorbent body; and belts including a first locking member on a first side in longitudinal direction of the belts and a second locking member on a second side opposite to the first side in the longitudinal direction of the belts. The absorbent body includes a longitudinal outward end (LOE) in the longitudinal direction. The absorbent core includes an LOE in the longitudinal direction. Described herein are systems and apparatuses for enhanced comfort through contact pressure reduction. In particular, the systems and apparatuses disclosed herein prevent or otherwise mitigate pressure by actively orienting a patient over an anatomy-specific pressure-mitigating contact surface on which the patient rests. A pressure-mitigating contact portion of the contact surface includes a plurality of independently pressurized chambers configured in a specific geometric pattern that is designed to mitigate contact pressure between a support surface (e.g., bed or chair) and a specific anatomic region of a patient's body when the specific anatomic region of the patient's body is oriented over an epicenter of the geometric pattern. Additionally, a plurality of elevated side support portions and a wedge interconnected on the base material are configured to actively orient the specific anatomic region of the patient's body over the epicenter of the geometric pattern.
