ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH WETNESS INDICATOR
An absorbent article including an absorbent core arranged between a topsheet and a backsheet, the absorbent article having a longitudinal axis and a transversal axis extending in a perpendicular direction in relation to the longitudinal axis, the absorbent article having a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion there between, and at least one wetness indicator, wherein at least one first wetness indicator is arranged in the front portion and/or the back portion. Furthermore, the absorbent article includes at least one permanent visual element arranged in the crotch portion, and the permanent visual element mimics the visual appearance of the wetness indicator.
Absorbent article having a fastening system with a visual cue
An absorbent article has a chassis having an outer cover at least in part defining the outer surface of the article, a pair of ears extending transversely outward from opposite sides of the chassis, and a fastening system comprising a primary fastening system and a secondary fastening system. The secondary fastening system includes a secondary second fastening component located on each of the ears and a corresponding secondary first fastening component located on the outer surface of the article at a first waist portion. A ΔE value calculated using the Color Contrast Test between the secondary first fastening components uncovered by the ears and the outer cover being greater than 20.
Shaped nonwoven
A nonwoven fabric is provided. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, wherein at least one of the surfaces has a TS7 value of less than about 15 dB V.sup.2 rms, and wherein the first surface has a TS7 value that is higher than the second surface TS7 value.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH A CHANNEL-FORMING AREA AND A MASKING LAYER
An absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core comprising an absorbent material and a core wrap is provided. The core comprises at least one channel-forming area that is substantially free of absorbent material. The absorbent article comprises a masking layer between the bottom side of the core wrap and the backsheet. The masking layer and the bottom side of the core wrap are only partially bonded to each other at their interface, the interface thus comprising a bonded portion and an unbonded portion, wherein the channel-forming area at least partially corresponds to the unbonded portion of the interface, so that when the absorbent material swells, the masking layer can decouple from the three-dimensional channels.
Absorbent article with multifunctional side panel
An absorbent article may comprise a chassis having a front waist region, a rear waist region, a crotch region between the front waist region and the rear waist region, a pair of longitudinal edges, and a pair of side panels extending between and connecting the front waist region and the rear waist region to form a leg opening. Each side panel may comprise a stretch laminate joined by a mechanical bond. The article may bear a chassis graphic disposed on a backsheet and a side panel graphic disposed on a side panel.
Substrates having improved crockfastness
An ink-printed substrate comprising a substrate and water-based ink composition printed on the substrate, wherein the ink-printed substrate has an average color density of at least about 0.48 or greater.
Laminates for absorbent articles and methods of making the same
Three-dimensional laminates and methods for making the same are provided. The three-dimensional laminates may be apertured and may have welds between various substrates. The three-dimensional laminates may be used in absorbent articles, such as diapers and pants, for example, as topsheets, as topsheets and acquisition layers, or as outer cover materials, for example. The three-dimensional laminates may be produced on an absorbent article manufacturing line.
Absorbent articles with channels and signals
Absorbent articles herein may provide a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core may comprise at least one channel having a shape. The backsheet graphics may substantially match the shape.
CONNECTABLE DISPOSABLE WEAR ARTICLE AND METHOD OF DETECTING STICKING DEFECT OF TARGET SHEET IN MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Position detection of a target sheet is facilitated without requiring a register mark. A connectable disposable wear article having a crotch portion M including a center in a front-back direction LD, a ventral side part F extending forward from the center in the front-back direction LD, and a dorsal side part B extending backward from the center in the front-back direction LD, connecting portions 83 to be detachably connected to an outer surface of the ventral side part F being provided on both side 0portions of the dorsal side part B, a target sheet 20 to which the connecting portions 83 are connected being provided on the outer surface of the ventral side part F, in which a whiteness of all corner portions 21 on at least one of an inner surface and an outer surface of the target sheet 20 is 80% or more.
ARRAY OF DISPOSABLE PANT ARTICLES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ARRAY OF DISPOSABLE PANT ARTICLES
An array includes at least one first disposable pant article and at least one second disposable pant article. The first article has a first structure, and at least the outside surface and a surrounding zone of the absorbent core have substantially the same first colour. The second article has a second structure, and at least the outside surface and a surrounding zone of the absorbent core have substantially the same second colour. Each of the first and second articles includes an information tag arranged on the inside of the waist portion, the material of the information tag being in a third colour which is different from the first and second colours by a colour difference ΔE*ab more than 20. The first structure is structurally different from the second structure and/or the first colour is different from the second colour by a colour difference ΔE*ab more than 10.
