The present disclosure also provides a wipe comprising a nonwoven material, the nonwoven material comprising core/sheath bicomponent fibers wherein the core is formed of PET resin. The PET has less than 150 ppm of antimony.

Process for making an absorbent article comprising a topsheet/acquisition layer laminate

A process of making an absorbent article comprising providing a liquid permeable topsheet web extending substantially continuously in a machine direction. The topsheet web having a first and second surface and a backsheet web extending substantially continuously in the machine direction and an acquisition layer having a first and second surface. The process comprises aligning the topsheet web and the acquisition layer in a face to face relationship such that the second surface of the topsheet in in contact with the first surface of the acquisition layer and simultaneously mechanically deforming and combining the topsheet web together with the acquisition layer. The topsheet web and acquisition layer are nested together such that a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the topsheet web coincide with and fit together with a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the acquisition layer to provide a topsheet/acquisition layer laminate web having three-dimensional protrusions.

Absorbent core comprising a high loft central layer and channels

An absorbent core for use in an absorbent article, the absorbent core extending in a transversal direction and a longitudinal direction. The absorbent core includes a fluid-permeable top layer, a bottom layer, and a central layer between the top layer and the bottom layer. The central layer may be a high loft fibrous nonwoven layer, in particular having a density of less than about 0.200 g/cc, measured at a pressure of 4.14 kPa. Superabsorbent polymer particles may be blended with the fibers of the central layer, except for one or more longitudinally-extending channels substantially free of superabsorbent polymer particles.

Absorbent structure with dryness layer

An absorbent structure including a dryness layer laminate is disclosed, with the structure suitable for use in disposable absorbent products such as for infant or incontinence care. The dryness layer laminate is positioned adjacent an associated absorbent core, between the absorbent core and the wearer, for enhancing surface dryness and comfort for the wearer. The dryness layer laminate comprises adhesive fibers or filaments, and particulate superabsorbent, and is configured to permit liquid to pass through the laminate to the associated absorbent core, while acting to remove liquid from the surface of the absorbent structure positioned adjacent to the wearer.
