Precious stone setting
A bezel setting comprises: a bezel body having a circumscribing wall with a given body thickness, an upper surface sized to enable a corresponding pavilion surface of a precious stone to rest thereon, and a bendable lip substantially surrounding the upper surface of the bezel body, the lip having an interior surface shaped to be substantially matched and complementary to an exterior surface defining a girdle surface of the precious stone, and the lip has a thickness dimension that is substantially smaller than said body thickness of said bezel body. The lip is made of a material that is compressible and bendable so it can be bent over to tightly wrap the girdle and slightly cover a crown region of the precious stone.

BEAD AND RHINESTONE POSITIONERS
A tool kit includes a pair of bead and rhinestone positioners. The first positioner includes a positioning shaft attached to a first mounting thimble. The second positioner has a holding adhesive-bearing shaft attached to a second mounting thimble. The first and second mounting thimbles mount on end phalanxes of human hand digits. The positioning shaft projects outwardly along a direction aligned with the phalanx upon which the first mounting thimble is mounted. A positioning end is disposed away from the first mounting thimble. The holding adhesive-bearing shaft projects outwardly along a direction aligned with the phalanx upon which the second thimble is mounted. A holding adhesive spaced apart from the second mounting thimble is disposed on the holding adhesive-bearing shaft.
Elongate decorative element with reduced surface roughness
The invention relates to a decorative element comprising an elongate support body and a multitude of, in particular faceted, gemstones on an adhesive layer on the support body, wherein a minimum position and a maximum position exist for each of the gemstones.

Items of jewelry and a method of producing such items
A method of producing a jewelry item. The method comprises producing an annular or partially annular substrate formed with a plurality of slots extending from its inner periphery towards its outer periphery. A plurality of insert members are produced each formed with a slot and at least two bordered openings one to each side of the slot. The insert members are located in turn into the slots of the annular or partially annular substrate with the slots of the substrate and the insert members inter-engaging whereby each insert member is positioned generally normal to the annular or partially annular substrate. Gemstones are then located between each pair of neighboring insert members above with edges of each gem stone or the like located in the openings formed in the insert members.
