ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH MULTI-LAYER FOLDED ABSORBENT CORE
Absorbent laminates and multi-layer, folded absorbent cores comprising the absorbent laminates for use in absorbent articles are presented. Specifically, multi-layer, folded absorbent cores are presented that are formed from an absorbent laminate comprising an absorbent layer between two tissue layers, in which the absorbent core includes a central channel running longitudinally along the core and crenellations profiled along the thickness of the core and providing enhanced liquid distribution across the core surface area or profile and improved liquid absorption into the laminate.
Human wearable and detachable incontinence device
A detachable urine flow collection device that integrates with a disposable nonwoven or underwear garment worn by a human male or female. The incontinence device fits through an opening in the disposable nonwoven or underwear garment. The incontinence device is ellipsoid in shape and will be in direct and intimate contact with the users' genitals. This design allows the incontinence device to collect urine when the user urinates in different body positions. The main purpose of the incontinence devise is to channel this urine and liquid away from contact with the user and their skin as the constant contact of the liquid and urine is harmful. The channeling of urine and liquid away from the users skin is accomplished by the design of the incontinence device and the combinations of nonwoven materials that direct, move and store the urine and liquid in the device.
DIAPER CORE WITH TRIPLE LEAK GUARD
The present invention generally relates to a diaper core, specifically a triple leak guard diaper core (1) for infant and adult, comprising: a center core (10) comprising liquid absorbing material (12) and a plurality of hollow sections (14) disposed on the core (10) longitudinally, allowing the core (10) to bend upward or forming a U-channel, and a center core top surface (CCTS) is provided facing a liquid discharge source (16); at least one layer of bottom core wrap (16) encapsulates the center core (10) with a bottom core gap (BCG) disposed on the center core top surface (CCTS); at least one layer of top core wrap (18) is disposed on the bottom core gap (BCG) and the bottom core wrap (16); and at least one layer of acquisition distribution layer (20) is disposed on the top core wrap (18).
Expandable absorbent core and method of manufacture
An expandable absorbent structure comprises an expansion loop core configured to expand in response to absorption of a liquid and an expansion loop material structure surrounding the expansion loop core and having a trough therein, wherein the trough is formed from a first portion of the expansion loop material structure folded over a second portion of the expansion loop material structure at a first elbow of the expansion loop material structure. In response to an increase in size of the expansion loop core, the expansion loop core presses against the expansion loop material structure to cause a length of the trough to decrease.
SHAPED ABSORBENT INSERT AND CONTAINMENT SYSTEM
A discrete absorbent insert and containment system including an absorbent core is disclosed. The absorbent insert includes a first sheet, a second sheet in facing relation with the first sheet, and an absorbent core positioned between the first sheet and the second sheet. The absorbent core defines a core perimeter and the first sheet and the second sheet extend beyond the core perimeter and are joined together to form a perimeter seal. A central section of an absorbent core is positioned between a first end section and a second end section. Both the first end section and the second end section comprise an arc extending at least 185 degrees. The first end section defines a maximum width of at least 120 mm, the central section defines a maximum width of less than 115 mm, and the second end section defines a maximum width of at least 120 mm.
Biodegradable Absorbent Articles
A biodegradable, disposable absorbent article, such as a diaper, having a non-woven inner layer of natural fibers and a non-woven outer layer of natural fibers and a treatment applied to at least one surface thereof. The treatment includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of waxes, urethanes, silicones, fluorocarbons, and non-fluorochemical repellents. The absorbent article has a core of natural fibers or fibrous material, and optionally polyacrylate superabsorbent particles, positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer. The article may contain polylactic acid films between the layers.
Anti-stain absorption pad for underpants and underpants comprising the same
An anti-stain absorption pad for underpants and an underpants including the same are provided. The absorption pad includes a waterproof layer, at least one absorption layer and two fixing structures; wherein the waterproof layer includes a main body and two inverse-folded parts respectively provided at two opposite sides of the main body; the at least one absorption layer is disposed on the main body, and the at least one absorption layer is used for absorbing a liquid; and the two fixing structures are respectively disposed at the two inverse-folded parts, and fix the two inverse-folded parts on the at least one absorption layer. Therefore, in the present invention, since the fixing structures are covered by the waterproof layer due to the structure of the inverse-folded parts, backflow and secondary leakage of menstrual blood can be avoided, thereby achieving a complete leakproof effect.
Origami patterns for diapers
A diaper is provided which includes at least one origami pattern. The at least one origami pattern includes a pattern of pre-determined fold lines. A method of manufacturing a diaper is also provided. In one step, at least one origami pattern is selected, comprising a pattern of fold-lines, to meet at least one of the following three parameters for the diaper: (1) sag; (2) shape-conformance; or (3) wicking. In another step, the diaper is manufactured to include the selected at least one origami pattern.
COMPOSITE ABSORBENT TAPE
A composite tape (1) is provided comprising at least a first layer (3) comprising a plurality of first continuous polymer filaments (32) defining a development axis (32a) and at least in part a plurality of mutually identical outlines (33) arranged in succession along said development axis (32a); a second layer (4) of second continuous polymer filaments (40) forming a surface layer of tape (1) and placed in contact with the first layer (3); wherein the outline (33) is determined on a section plane (32b) normal to the development axis (32a), defining a first extension area on the section plane (32b) and being inscribable in a circle determined on the section plane (32b) and defining a second extension area on the section plane (32b); and wherein the first extension area is less than 90% of the second extension area.
Absorbent core for an absorbent article
An absorbent core for an absorbent article is provided an absorbent material, the absorbent core comprising one or more first zones comprising a first amount of absorbent material and one or more second zones comprising a second amount of absorbent material, wherein each second zone is at least partly delimited from the other second zones by the one or more first zones characterized in that the first amount of bulk absorbent material is different than the second amount of absorbent material, each amount of absorbent material being determined as weight per unit area.
