The assembly comprises an absorbent core comprising first and second absorbent layers, and having front, crotch and rear portions, and front and rear transverse edges. The first and second absorbent layers overlap in the crotch portion. The first absorbent layer has a first layer frontmost half and a rearmost half, the first absorbent layer having front and rear transverse edges. The second absorbent layer has a rearmost half and frontmost half, the second absorbent layer has a rear transverse edge and front transverse edge, wherein a maximum width of the first layer frontmost half is greater than that of the first layer rearmost half and wherein a maximum width of the second layer rearmost half is greater than that of the second layer frontmost half.
DEVICE FOR COLLECTING A FRACTION OF THE PERSPIRATION EXCRETED BY A SUBJECT
A device for collecting a fraction of the perspiration excreted by a subject, the device being of the type including a multi-layer patch including: a first layer including at least one perspiration-collecting aperture and a transfer opening; a hydrophilic absorbent layer, positioned above the first layer and communicating with the external environment, and communicating with the first layer via the transfer opening; a film, possibly transparent, that constitutes a barrier against water and against vapour, and that covers at least the upper face of the absorbent layer; the device notably including means for regulating the rate at which perspiration in the liquid and/or vapour state penetrates into the absorbent layer.
MULTILAYER BLADDER CONTROL PAD
The absorbent pad has a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. Each layer of the pad has a liquid impervious backsheet. The backsheet or outer layer, which faces away from the wearer when the absorbent article is secured to the wearer, is composed of a moisture-impervious, flexible material. Further, each layer has a moisture pervious inner layer and an absorbent core positioned in between the inner layer and backsheet. The layers are coupled to each other via an adhesive. They can be removed by grasping a tab placed on each layer and pulling the layer away from the unsoiled layers.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A disposable diaper has an absorber including. The absorber includes a first region including a center of the absorber, a pair of second regions between the first folding lines and the second folding lines inward of the first folding lines, and a pair of third regions outward of the second folding lines and on the skin contact surface side of the second regions. Outer side edges of the third regions are outward of the first folding lines. The absorbent article includes a first bonded portion in which the first and second regions are bonded, a third bonded portion in which the third regions are bonded with the non-skin surface sheet, and a third non-bonded portion inward of the third bonded portion and outward of the first folding lines. The third non-bonded portion are across the center of the absorbent article in the crotch region.
DISPOSABLE DIAPER
Technical problem
A disposable diaper having excellent performances in both the absorbable capacity and the absorption rate, is provided.
Solution to problem
The above problem is solved by a pad type disposable diaper 200, in which a top sheet 22 is formed of a thermoplastic nonwoven fabric, and absorbent bodies 23A and 23B are formed of a lower layer absorbent body 23B and an upper layer absorbent body 23A provided on a front surface of the lower layer absorbent body 23B, wherein a slit 40 having a predetermined width is provided in the upper layer absorbent body 23A at least at a crotch portion C2 so as to extend in a front-back direction, and the slit 40 having the predetermined width is not provided in the lower layer absorbent body 23B, the top sheet 22 includes a depressed portion 30 that is depressed into the slit 40, and multiple low permeation portions 80 are provided with intervals at least in the depressed portion 30, the low permeation portions 80 being portions in which fibers are welded to each other in a state of being compressed in a thickness direction.
PAD TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER
An absorbent of a disposable diaper is formed of a lower layer absorbent and an upper layer absorbent, wherein a pair of left and right slits is extended in a front-rear direction region including a crotch portion, wherein the left slit and the right slit are spaced apart in a width direction, wherein a top sheet includes a depressed portion that falls into the slits, and wherein, in at least a region located between the slits in the top sheet, a large number of convex portions is arranged in a zigzag manner while being spaced apart by an interval, and the interval between the adjacent convex portions in the width direction is shorter than each of sizes in the width direction of the convex portions located at the front side and at a rear side of a part of the interval.
ABSORBENT STRUCTURE FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLES
Absorbent structures for diapers are provided, comprising, immobilized onto a supporting sheet, an absorbent layer with absorbent material containing superabsorbent polymer particles and therein, in the front region, a first and a second substantially longitudinal channel, each being free of said superabsorbent polymeric particles, for improved fit and/or performance throughout the use thereof.
Moisture retaining body
Disclosed is a moisture-retaining body having a water-absorbing surface, having a structure in which, from a water-absorbing surface side, a water-permeable layer having water disintegrability and water permeability, a moisture-retaining layer having water disintegrability, water absorbability, and water retainability, a water-repellent layer including a water-soluble film and dots of a dot-like water-repellent resin with a diameter of 5 ?m to 150 ?m dispersed on a surface side of the water-soluble film facing the moisture-retaining layer, and a support layer having water disintegrability are sequentially laminated, as a moisture-retaining body which is quickly dissolved or decomposed by coming into contact with a large amount of water when dumped in a flush toilet or the like while being prevented from being dissolved or decomposed by retained moisture.
Tissue Contact Interface
An apparatus, system, and method for closing an opening through a surface of a tissue site is described. The apparatus includes an apposition layer adapted to be positioned over the opening. The apposition layer is formed from a material having a firmness factor, and has a plurality of holes extending through the apposition layer. The holes form a void space and have a perforation shape factor and a strut angle configured to collapse the apposition layer in a first direction relative to a second direction. A sheet having a plurality of perforations is configured to surround the apposition layer, the sheet having a plurality of perforations. The apposition layer generates a closing force in the first direction that is substantially parallel to the surface of the tissue site to close the opening in response to application of a negative pressure.
Composite Dressings For Improved Granulation And Reduced Maceration With Negative-Pressure Treatment
Dressings for tissue treatment with negative pressure and methods of using the dressings for tissue treatment with negative pressure, which may comprise a dressing having at least three layers assembled in a stacked relationship. The first layer may comprise or consist essentially of a polymer film having a plurality of fluid restrictions that are normally unstrained or closed. The second layer may comprise a manifold, and the third layer may comprise or consist essentially of a polymer drape. A fourth layer, which may be coupled to the first layer opposite the second layer, may comprise or consist essentially of a silicone gel having a plurality of apertures. In some examples, the plurality of apertures in the fourth layer may be registered with the fluid restrictions of the first layer.
