DISPOSABLE ABSORPTION PRODUCT AND ABSORBABLE CORE
An absorbable core of a disposable absorption product, having an upper polyurethane foam layer which is liquid-permeable and a wrapping layer which is capable of absorbing liquid; the wrapping layer comprises an outer part and an inner part; the outer part is a first liquid-permeable sleeve body; the inner part is an accommodating cavity; a lower polyurethane foam layer and a particle layer are provided inside the accommodating cavity; the particle layer is distributed on an upper surface of the lower polyurethane foam layer and is formed by resin particles, organic acid particles and anhydrous bicarbonate particles mixed together. A disposable absorption product comprising said absorbable core is also provided. By integrating polyurethane polymer foam with superabsorbent polymer particles, organic acid particles and anhydrous bicarbonate particles, the absorbable core is good at absorbing and locking liquid, and provides soft and elastic supporting materials which provide great comfort to users.
Absorbent articles having channel-forming areas and wetness indicator
An absorbent article comprising an absorbent core having at least two longitudinally extending channel-forming areas and a wetness indicator. The core wrap comprises a top side and a bottom side, which are attached to each other through areas substantially free of absorbent material, so that when the absorbent material swells upon absorption of a liquid the core wrap forms channels along these areas substantially free of absorbent material.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article includes a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core positioned intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid impermeable backsheet, each layer having a skin-facing side, the absorbent article being arranged along a longitudinal axis and a transversal axis extending in a perpendicular direction in relation to the longitudinal axis, and the absorbent article defining a front portion having a front edge, a back portion having a back edge and a crotch portion intermediate the front portion and the back portion, wherein the back portion of the absorbent article further includes a transversally extending capture layer, wherein the capture layer includes an outboard transversal edge facing the back edge and two longitudinal edges being sealed to any part of the absorbent article, wherein the capture layer further includes an inboard transversal edge facing the front edge, the inboard transversal edge being unsealed for gathering of feces, wherein the capture layer is positioned to at least partially cover the skin-facing side of the topsheet, wherein the absorbent core includes at least one thickness, wherein at least the back portion of the absorbent article further includes at least one centrally oriented zone in the absorbent core, the zone being at least partially recessed, resulting in the zone having a generally lower thickness in relation to the thickness of surrounding parts of the absorbent core.
Absorbent articles with different types of channels
An absorbent article has a front side, a back side, a longitudinal axis and includes a liquid permeable topsheet on the wearer-facing side, a liquid impermeable backsheet on the garment-facing side, and an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes a core wrap having a top side and a bottom side, an absorbent material having a deposition area between the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap, and at least two channels substantially free of absorbent material within the deposition area. In a first type of channels, the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are bonded to each other. In a second type of channels, the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are not bonded or are less bonded to each other than in the first type of channels.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
To prevent or suppress roughness of the skin of a wearer by configuring an absorbent article so as to quickly absorb a body fluid into an absorber, for example, configuring a diaper so as to quickly absorb loose stool into an absorber. An absorbent article includes a liquid-holding absorber and a liquid pervious top sheet on a skin-facing surface side of the absorber. An absorbent Q mainly containing glycerin is provided on an intermediate sheet that transfers at least a body fluid that has passed through the top sheet to the absorber.
Absorbent article with channels and method for manufacturing thereof
A method for manufacturing an absorbent article, said method comprising guiding a first sheet material along a rotating member, wherein a surface of said rotating member is provided with a pattern with at least one suction zone and at least one non-suction zone; applying an absorbent material on said first sheet material on the rotating member; locally removing the absorbent material applied on at least one attachment portion of the first sheet material located above the at least one non-suction zone, such that at least one remaining portion of the first sheet material located above the at least one suction zone is covered with absorbent material and substantially no absorbent material is present on the at least one attachment portion; applying a second sheet material on top of the absorbent material on the first sheet material.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED CORE AND METHOD OF MAKING
An absorbent article comprising: a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned between said topsheet and backsheet, wherein the absorbent core comprises an absorbent material, said absorbent material comprising cellulose fibers and/or superabsorbent polymers, and wherein said absorbent material is contained within at least one core wrap substrate enclosing said absorbent material therein, wherein the absorbent core further comprises an intermediate layer positioned between a top layer of said core wrap and a bottom layer of said core wrap such that said absorbent material is disposed between said top layer and said intermediate layer and between said bottom layer and said intermediate layer.
Absorbent articles with different types of channels
An absorbent article has a front side, a back side, a longitudinal axis, a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes a first type of channels, wherein the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are bonded to another, and a second type of channels, wherein the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are not bonded or are less bonded to one another in this second type of channels than in the first type of channels. The absorbent material may also include cellulose and superabsorbent particles.
ABSORBENT CORE COMPRISING A HIGH LOFT CENTRAL LAYER AND CHANNELS
An absorbent core for use in an absorbent article, the absorbent core extending in a transversal direction and a longitudinal direction. The absorbent core includes a fluid-permeable top layer, a bottom layer, and a central layer between the top layer and the bottom layer. The central layer may be a high loft fibrous nonwoven layer, in particular having a density of less than about 0.200 g/cc, measured at a pressure of 4.14 kPa. Superabsorbent polymer particles may be blended with the fibers of the central layer, except for one or more longitudinally-extending channels substantially free of superabsorbent polymer particles.
Absorbent articles with different types of channels
An absorbent article has a front side, a back side, a longitudinal axis, a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes a first type of channels and a second type of channels. The first type of channels have bonds with a Static Peel Force Time which is higher than the Static Peel Force Time of the second type of channels.
