Disposable absorbent articles suitable for providing leakage protection for users that experience relatively small to relatively large discharges of fluids are described. The article includes a primary topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent system disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent system includes a first absorbent core and a second absorbent core, and wherein the primary topsheet and at least the first absorbent core include a plurality of recessed areas.

Sensing panel for hygiene monitoring device
A flexible sensing panel includes a flexible substrate having first and second major surfaces, first and second separated side edges, and first and second ends, the flexible substrate being at least partly disposed between a flexible protective layer and a flexible fastening layer, and at least one sensing element being disposed on the flexible substrate. The protective layer is secured to the first major surface of the flexible substrate and is folded over the first and second side edges onto the second major surface of the flexible substrate and secured thereto to position at least part of the first and second side edges within the so formed folds, and wherein the fastening layer is at least partly disposed on the second major surface of the flexible substrate and secured thereto.
ABSORBENT PAD WITH ELASTIC ELEMENTS
An absorbent pad having first and second longitudinal pad side edge. The absorbent pad includes a fluid permeable topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core. The absorbent core has first and second longitudinal side edges. The absorbent core in its longitudinal direction has a front portion, a rear portion and an intermediate portion located between the front portion and the rear portion, the front portion, the rear portion and the intermediate portion being of equal lengths. An elastic element is disposed between the fluid permeable topsheet and the backsheet outside of the respective longitudinal core side edges. A width of the absorbent core in the front portion and the intermediate portion varies no more than 25 mm along a length of the absorbent core. The respective elastic elements each extends along at least a part of the front portion and over at least 30% of the intermediate portion.

A folded absorbent article, wherein: the absorbent article (1) comprises a top sheet (2), a back sheet (3) and an absorbent body (4) provided therebetween; the absorbent article (1) is folded in three in the front-rear direction with a skin facing side inside so that a front part (11) and a rear part (13) overlap with a middle part (12); the absorbent body (4) is provided so as to extend from the middle part (12) to the front part (11) and the rear part (13); and an anti-slipping member (7) is provided in the middle part (12) so as to overlap with the absorbent body (4) and attaching-fixing members (8) made of a hook member or an adhesive layer are provided in the front part (11) and the rear part (13) on a non-skin facing side of the back sheet (4).

An absorbent article (1) comprising a top sheet (2), a back sheet (3) and an absorbent body (11) provided therebetween, wherein; the absorbent body (11) has a high-rigidity part (12) and a low-rigidity part (13); the high-rigidity part (12) and the low-rigidity part (13) extend in the front-rear direction, respectively, and are arranged alternately in the width direction; an anti-slipping member (7) is provided on a non-skin facing side of the back sheet (3); and the anti-slipping member (7) is provided so as to astride a first high-rigidity side part (12A) closest to one end in the width direction of the absorbent body (11) and a second high-rigidity side part (12B) closest to the other end in the width direction of the absorbent body (11), and not to extend outward in the width direction from the first high-rigidity side part (12A) and the second high-rigidity side part (12B).

PAD-TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER
The pad-type disposable diaper allows, with the diaper attached to underwear, easy checking for appropriate positioning. The diaper has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the under faces of a first fixing zone located in the crotch section and the second fixing zones located forward and backward of the first fixing zone, and is to be fixed to the underwear with at least one of the front and back end portions thereof sticking out of the waist opening of the underwear. The at least one of the front and back end portions is provided with right and left marks indicative of the front-back positions so as to be visually observable from the underside of the diaper, and the marks are spaced apart from each other in the width direction and arranged in symmetry with respect to the center line passing the center of the width of the diaper.
MALE INCONTINENCE GUARD, KIT, AND METHOD
A male incontinence guard including a fluid-impermeable backsheet, a fluid-permeable topsheet, and an absorbent body arranged between said backsheet and said topsheet is disclosed. The guard includes first and second fold lines along which side regions of the article can be folded to cover at least a portion of the absorbent surface of the article. Additional fold lines may be provided to facilitate folding of a lower end region over the first and second side regions. Fastening material is provided to secure the article in the folded configuration. Also, an associated method of manufacturing and a kit comprising an incontinence guard.

Male incontinence pad having an outer absorbent pad, an inner lining and an inner adsorbent pad, each having an aperture that together form a channel for receiving a male member. The male incontinence pad is folded around the male member to form a pocket that in use operates to absorb any discharge from the male member.
