Absorbent article with strong and weak bonded portions
An absorbent article includes an absorber including cells, each of which is surrounded by bonded portions of a front surface side sheet and a back surface side sheet and in each of which the front surface side sheet and the back surface side seat are not bonded, and including superabsorbent polymer particles contained in each of the cells. The bonded portions are arranged in dotted line shapes according to a pattern in which same-sized octagonal portions having all interior angles of 135°, and having two pairs of opposite sides whose facing directions are mutually orthogonal are equal in length, and diamond-shaped portions each having equal length of all sides and being formed in portions among the octagonal portions, are arranged without any space in the front-back direction (LD) or the width direction (WD).
FEMININE HYGIENE ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED WINGS
Feminine hygiene articles are disclosed herein. The feminine hygiene articles described herein can provide easily discernable placement and orientation guides which reduce the likelihood of misapplication by the user, facilitated attachment guides which can reduce the likelihood of misapplication of the feminine pad, and can also reduce the likelihood of improper attachment of the feminine pad to a panty. The feminine hygiene articles disclosed include uniquely shaped wings which can provide cues on proper attachment of the article to the panty and may help in providing sustained coverage of the feminine hygiene article to the panty which reduces the likelihood that the pad will become detached during use.
INDIVIDUALLY-WRAPPED ABSORBENT ARTICLE
Provided is an individually-wrapped sanitary napkin N, in which a sanitary napkin 1 is folded lengthwise with a wrapping sheet 10 and wrapped individually, the sanitary napkin 1 including an inner surface sheet 3 that constitutes a skin-contacting surface layer and a pair of wing-like flaps W that have wing adhesive layers 9 for fixing the wing-like flaps W to the underwear. The wing-like flaps W are both folded to the skin-contacting surface side, and the wing adhesive layers 9, provided in the folded portions of the wing-like flaps W, are collectively covered by a wing separating sheet 12, and a functional chemical 20 having a specific function is contained in the inner surface sheet 3 in the area where the wing separating sheet 12 is layered.
Absorbent pad for a garment
An absorbent pad for use in a garment is disclosed. The absorbent pad includes a liquid impermeable barrier layer and a functional layer disposed adjacent to the barrier layer, the functional layer having a liquid absorbent component. The absorbent pad also includes a first attaching element coupled to a periphery of the functional layer and a periphery of the barrier layer; and a second attaching element having a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion coupled to the first attaching element. The second portion of the second attaching element is arranged to be attached to a fabric body of the garment, thereby attaching the absorbent pad to the garment. The absorbent pad is washable and reusable.
Feminine hygiene article
Feminine hygiene articles are disclosed herein. The feminine hygiene articles described herein can provide easily discernable placement and orientation guides which reduce the likelihood of misapplication by the user, facilitated attachment guides which can reduce the likelihood of misapplication of the feminine pad and can also reduce the likelihood of improper attachment of the feminine pad to a panty. The feminine hygiene articles disclosed include wings which can provide cues on proper attachment of the article to the panty, and wing adhesive distributed in a way which can provide sustained coverage of the feminine hygiene article to the panty which reduces the likelihood that the pad will become detached during use.
SANITARY ARTICLE WITH SHAPING ELEMENT
Disclosed is a sanitary article, including a topsheet, a backsheet and absorbent core, the sanitary article having an extension in a longitudinal direction and transverse direction, first and second longitudinal edges extending in the longitudinal direction and front and rear transverse edges extending in the transverse direction, the sanitary article being divided in a front portion, crotch portion and rear portion, the absorbent core including a head portion, body portion and neck portion forming a transitional region between the head portion and body portion, the head portion being positioned in the front portion and the body portion being positioned in the crotch portion and rear portion, wherein the absorbent core in the front portion of the sanitary article is provided with a shaping element.
Webs with compositions applied thereto
An absorbent article having a longitudinal centerline, a lateral centerline, a machine direction (MD) generally oriented parallel to the longitudinal centerline and a cross direction (CD) generally oriented parallel to the lateral centerline is described. The absorbent article includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed therebetween. A plurality of composition elements is disposed on the topsheet, wherein each of the composition elements comprise an element width and an element spacing between adjacent elements, and wherein a ratio of element spacing to element width is between about 0.5 to about 8, as measured by the Composition Pattern Analysis.
Sanitary napkin having uniquely shaped absorbents
A sanitary napkin is disclosed having a body-facing surface and a garment-facing surface. The sanitary napkin also has a first end, a second end, and a pair of sides. The sanitary napkin has a longitudinal central axis, a transverse central axis, a main absorbent, and first and second 3-dimensional absorbent members. The main absorbent, and the first and second 3-dimensional absorbent members are joined together between a liquid pervious top sheet and a liquid-impervious back sheet. All three absorbents contain superabsorbent. The sanitary napkin also has a pair of wings extending outward from the sides of the sanitary napkin and has garment adhesive on the garment facing surfaces to secure the sanitary napkin and the pair of wings to the crotch portion of an undergarment. This sanitary napkin is designed to absorb heavy to excessive menstrual fluid flow.
System of pantiliners and menstrual pads
