LOW-WEIGHT INFANT DIAPER
A low-weight infant diaper has a longitudinal direction and a width direction that intersect each other. The low-weight infant diaper includes: an exterior sheet disposed closer to a non-skin side than an absorbent body; and a belt including a first locking member on a first side in the width direction and a second locking member on a second side opposite to the first side in the width direction. The belt is locked to a non-skin side of the exterior sheet by the first locking member. The belt includes a first additional joining portion that causes a part of the belt to join the exterior sheet. The first additional joining portion is disposed in a region in the first side.
LOW-WEIGHT INFANT DIAPER
A low-weight infant diaper has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction that intersect each other. The low-weight infant diaper includes: an absorbent body including at least an absorbent core; an exterior sheet disposed closer to a non-skin side than the absorbent body; and belts including a first locking member on a first side in longitudinal direction of the belts and a second locking member on a second side opposite to the first side in the longitudinal direction of the belts. The absorbent body includes a longitudinal outward end (LOE) in the longitudinal direction. The absorbent core includes an LOE in the longitudinal direction. The exterior sheet includes an LOE in the longitudinal direction. The first locking member includes an LOE in the longitudinal direction.
LOW-WEIGHT INFANT DIAPER
A low-weight infant diaper includes: an absorbent body; an exterior sheet disposed closer to a non-skin side than the absorbent body; a pair of belts; and a first marker that indicates a lock position where one or more of the belts are locked to the non-skin-side surface of the exterior sheet. Each of the belts comprises a first locking member on a first side in a longitudinal direction of the belts and a second locking member on an opposite side of the first side in the longitudinal direction. The first and second locking members cause each of the belts to be locked to a non-skin-side surface of the exterior sheet. The marker is visible from a non-skin-side surface of the exterior sheet.
Absorbent article with waistband
A disposable absorbent article is disclosed that includes a first waist region, a second waist region, a crotch region disposed between the first waist region and second waist region, a waist edge in the first waist region, at least one waistband in the first waist region, at least one fastener in the second waist region, and at least one discrete landing zone in the first waist region, the discrete landing zone comprising an lateral inboard edge, wherein the discrete landing zone and the waistband overlap to form an overlap region in the first waist region, and wherein the waistband does not overlap the lateral inboard edge of the discrete landing zone.
Biodegradable Absorbent Articles
A biodegradable, disposable absorbent article, such as a diaper, having a non-woven inner layer of natural fibers and a non-woven outer layer of natural fibers and a treatment applied to at least one surface thereof. The treatment includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of waxes, urethanes, silicones, fluorocarbons, and non-fluorochemical repellants. The absorbent article has a core of natural fibers or fibrous material, and optionally polyacrylate superabsorbent particles, positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer. The article may contain polylactic acid films between the layers.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article is disclosed. The article includes a first portion having at least two target strips located on opposite ends of the first portion, at least one visual sizing indicator positioned on the first portion of the article between the at least two target strips, the visual sizing indicator including indicia for indicating that the article is too large for a wearer, a middle portion contoured inwards such that an hourglass shape is formed, and a second portion having at least two fasteners located on opposite edges of the second portion. The absorbent article is formed of several layers including a moisture-impervious outer layer, an inner layer substantially co-extensive with the outer layer, and a filler interposed between the inner layer and the outer layer.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH A FASTENING SYSTEM WITH REDUCED WASTE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
An absorbent article with a fastening system with reduced waste and method of manufacturing such an absorbent article is disclosed. The method of manufacturing an absorbent article can include cutting a first web of ear tab material to provide a first ear tab that is registered and cutting a second web of ear tab material to provide a second ear tab that is registered. The method can also include providing a web of ear panel material, coupling the first and second ear tabs to the web of ear panel material, cutting the web of ear panel material to provide first and second ear panels to form first and second ears, and coupling the first and second ears to the absorbent assembly to form at least a portion of the fastening system for the absorbent article. The first and second ears can be configured to be different from one another.
Anti-irritant diaper
There is provided an anti-irritant diaper having an absorbent material constructed with a shape defined by a front area, a middle area, a rear area, a pair of leg cuffs and closing tabs. A resilient, flexible band is removably disposed longitudinally and centrally along the absorbent material. A pocket is formed within the middle area for receiving excreted solid waste, so that the pocket forms a space above it separating the pocket from the wearer's skin, the flexible band maintains the structure of the pocket. There is also provided a removable one-directional flexible partition having a pair of dividers situated above the pocket, each of the dividers being attached at one end to one of the pair of leg cuffs, each divider being segmented into a plurality of flaps. The flexible band maintains the structure of the pocket, such that the partition allows for solid waste to enter therethrough and into the pocket and prevents the waste from returning and then contacting the skin, thereby preventing irritation to the skin.
Absorbent article with elastically elongatable panel
Closure elements that include elastic and non-elastic regions are disclosed as well as absorbent articles that include closure elements.
Elastic laminate and article containing same
Provided is a stretchable laminate which has a sufficient holding ability in the case of being stretched to be bonded onto another material and is excellent in feeling of touch. Also provided is an article including such stretchable laminate. The stretchable laminate of the present invention is a stretchable laminate, including: an elastomer layer; and a non-woven fabric layer arranged on at least one side of the elastomer layer, the stretchable laminate including an elastic lane portion and a rigid lane portion, the rigid lane portion requiring a strength of from 1 N/20 mm to 7 N/20 mm for obtaining a 5% deformation amount.
