Absorbent articles with components for a uniform appearance
A taped absorbent article is provided. The taped absorbent article includes a chassis comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet, and an outer cover nonwoven material joined to the backsheet. The outer cover nonwoven material comprises a first mechanical bond pattern. The taped absorbent article includes a discrete ear laminate joined to the chassis. The discrete ear laminate includes a first nonwoven material having a garment-facing surface, a second nonwoven material having a wearer-facing surface, a plurality of ultrasonic bonds, and an elastic member positioned at least partially intermediate the first and second nonwoven materials. The garment-facing surface of the first nonwoven material comprises a second mechanical bond pattern. The first and second mechanical bond patterns are substantially the same. The outer cover nonwoven material is substantially the same as, or the same as, the first nonwoven material.
Absorbent article with belt having profiled elasticity
The disclosure relates to absorbent articles having a front belt and a rear belt, each comprising a central zone and first and second peripheral zones, the zones extending substantially in transverse direction of the absorbent article. The at least first belt provides improved fit in the low motion zone of a wearer while being able to adapt easily to the motion of the wearer outside the low motion zone.
Webs with compositions applied thereto
An absorbent article having a longitudinal centerline, a lateral centerline, a machine direction (MD) generally oriented parallel to the longitudinal centerline and a cross direction (CD) generally oriented parallel to the lateral centerline is described. The absorbent article includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed therebetween. A plurality of composition elements is disposed on the topsheet, wherein each of the composition elements comprise an element width and an element spacing between adjacent elements, and wherein a ratio of element spacing to element width is between about 0.5 to about 8, as measured by the Composition Pattern Analysis.
Absorbent article with tackifier-free adhesive
Disposable absorbent articles assembled from a collection of components using an adhesive having an amorphous polyolefin composition with a random butane-α-olefin copolymer and a heterophase polyolefin copolymer composition with a first set of comonomer units and a second set of comonomer units, wherein the first set of comonomer units are propene.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING APERTURED, THREE-DIMENSIONAL MATERIALS AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
An absorbent article is provided. The absorbent article includes a nonwoven, liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent article includes an apertured substrate having a layer of fibers and has a plurality of apertures defined in the layer of fibers. At least some of the apertures have a side wall having a portion disposed an angle in the range of about 55 degrees to about 90 degrees, according to the 2D X-Ray CT Scan Test herein.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH CLOSURE MECHANISM
Embodiments relate to an absorbent pant that includes longitudinally opposing first and second waist regions and a crotch region between the first and second waist regions. Longitudinally opposing first and second waist panels are disposed in the first and second waist regions and connect to form a waist opening and a pair of leg apertures. A fastening zone area is disposed on at least one surface of the absorbent pant. In a wrapped configuration, at least one of the waist panels is configured to be laterally folded inward to engage the fastening zone area such that at least one of the leg apertures is at least partially sealed.
