Disposable absorbent article having a frangible bonding agent
A disposable absorbent article that includes a frangible bonding agent for maintaining the absorbent article in a predetermined configuration. The frangible bonding agent may be disposed on a fastening system in order to maintain one or more portions of the fastening system in a particular position during manufacturing but still provide an easy-to-open fastener when used by a consumer.
ROLLS FOR MANUFACTURE OF FASTENING TABS
The present invention relates to rolls of an elongated material and to methods of manufacturing fastening tabs.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES COMPRISING SUBSTANTIALLY IDENTICAL FLAPS
In one embodiment, taped and pant articles of the present disclosure may comprise first and second flaps that are at least substantially identical.
Absorbent article having a fastening system
An absorbent article is provided. The absorbent article includes an absorbent assembly having a liquid permeable inner layer, an outer layer, and an absorbent body between the inner and outer layers. A pair of ears extend transversely outward from opposite sides of the absorbent assembly in a back waist region, each of the ears having a primary first fastening-component that is selectively engagable with a primary second fastening-component in a front waist region. There is a pair of spaced-apart secondary first fastening-components disposed on the outer layer in the front waist region, each of the secondary first fastening-components being selectively engageable with the secondary second fastening-components. Each secondary first fastening-component fits into a fastener region, wherein each fastener region is defined by an outline. Each outline has a waist edge and an opposite leg edge connected by an outer edge and an inner edge. The length of the outer edge is shorter than the length of the inner edge.
Absorbent article with body conforming structure
An absorbent article has a top sheet, a back sheet, and an absorbent assembly positioned between the back sheet and the top sheet. The absorbent article includes a fluid intake layer positioned between the absorbent assembly and the top sheet. The fluid intake layer has a rearward-facing arch located in a back portion of the fluid intake layer. The fluid intake layer has an opening. The absorbent article includes a first lateral stiffener and a second lateral stiffener extending along a majority of the longitudinal side edges of the fluid intake layer. The absorbent article includes a first flexure, a second flexure, and a third flexure in a rear portion of the absorbent article.
Fastening tag for disposable absorbent article
A fastening tab that may be used with a disposable absorbent article such as a diaper, is disclosed. The fastening tab comprises a primary tape and a release tape. The primary tape may include a first and second mechanical fastener bearing region, an exposed adhesive region, and an intermediate region. The fastening tab provided may be directly attached to a nonwoven back sheet of a diaper chassis.
Disposable diaper
The fastening tape included in the disposable diaper has a base sheet, and a hook sheet provided with a plurality of engagement hooks and fixed on the base sheet. The engagement strength of the fastening tape is 0.3 N/30 mm or more, and 1.5 N/30 mm or less. The bending rigidity value in the direction in which the surface of the base sheet of the fastening tape comes close is smaller than the bending rigidity value in the direction in which the surface of the hook sheet of the fastening tape comes close.
Assembly having a structure and a reservoir fastened to the structure and containing an extinguishing fluid
An assembly having a chassis, two supports with a plate and a guide, a nesting system with a bore, a reservoir containing an extinguishing fluid and with two fastening tabs, two bearing tabs and a peg, and a fastener. The reservoir is able to move in translation between a premounting position in which each fastening and bearing tab rests on a plate and each guide guides the fastening and bearing tabs to align the peg and the bore, and a mounting position in which each fastening tab rests on the plate, the peg is introduced into the bore, the bearing tabs no longer rest on the plates and the fastener fastens each fastening tab to the plate. Such an assembly allows the reservoir to be withdrawn and put in place quickly and easily.
A DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT HYGIENE PRODUCT
A disposable absorbent hygiene product includes a chassis having a body facing surface and a garment facing surface, a longitudinal axis from a first end portion towards a second end portion and a transversal axis, the chassis including a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core assembly including at least one absorbent core arranged between the topsheet and the backsheet, the disposable absorbent hygiene product includes a pair of side portions extending on each side of the first end portion to fasten the absorbent hygiene product to the waist of a wearer, the disposable absorbent hygiene product includes at least one fastener arranged on at least one of the side portions and/or the second end portion of the disposable absorbent hygiene product to fasten the absorbent hygiene product to the waist of a wearer.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH FASTENING SYSTEM
A disposable absorbent article comprising: a liquid permeable topsheet; a liquid impermeable backsheet; and an absorbent core comprising absorbent material therein and being sandwiched between said topsheet and backsheet; the topsheet, backsheet and absorbent core together forming a chassis of said article, wherein said chassis comprises a perimeter formed by first and second transverse edges and first and second longitudinal edges connecting the first and second transverse edges; a longitudinal centerline (y) extending substantially parallel to said first and second longitudinal edges and interposed therebetween such to divide said chassis into a first longitudinal half between said longitudinal centerline (y) and said first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal half between said longitudinal centerline (y) and said second longitudinal edge; and a transverse centerline (x) extending substantially parallel to said first and second transverse edges and interposed therebetween such to divide said chassis into a first transverse half between said transverse centerline (x) and said first transverse edge and a second transverse half between said transverse centerline (x) and said second transverse edge; wherein said article further comprises an outer cover positioned on a garment-facing side of said backsheet and covering at least 75% of an area defined by said perimeter of said chassis; and a fastening system consisting of one or more male fasteners and a female fastening material; and wherein the female fastening material comprises a landing zone arranged to receive said one or more male fasteners thereon to provide a fastening of said one or more male fasteners to said female fastening material, wherein said female fastening material comprises, preferably consists of, said outer cover; wherein the one or more male fasteners comprise one or more first areas of adhesive A1 and one or more second areas of mechanical fastening elements A2 and wherein the total area ratio A1/A2 is from about 0.4 to about 1 and wherein the outer cover may be an embossed nonwoven and the outer cover comprising high-fiber-density areas and low-fiber-density areas, wherein the low-fiber-density areas are at least substantially enclosed by high-fiber-density areas, and wherein the high-fiber-density areas are disposed in a repeated pattern.
