Embodiments of the invention include obtaining dosage administration information from a patient and using the same to tailor a therapeutic regimen for the patient. Embodiments of the invention further include preparing and forwarding to the patient physical pharmaceutical dosages based on the customized therapeutic regimen.

Social network communities for support and accountability based on tracked tips
Bookmarking content modules and tracking scores of user properties against the bookmarked content modules on a computer implemented social network are provided. Content modules containing text, audio, video, or audio-video content are accessible to users of a social network. User properties are associated with the users of the social network and the user properties are related to the content modules. Each user of the social network can bookmark a content module and score a user property against the bookmarked content module related with the same user property. Scores are tracked over a period of time to provide motivation and accountability to the user. Ad hoc online communities form around the bookmarked content modules; members of an online community all share at least one common bookmarked content module. A messaging function is provided for members of an online community to communicate with each other to foster support and accountability.

The present invention engages a shared motor-perceptual-cognitive neural network involving oculomotor, visuo-motor and selective executive cognitive behaviors on both brain hemispheres. The present invention has applications to a wide range of non-verbal pre-orthographic visual processes and early lexical processes, not only contributing to enabling reading fluency to dyslexics, reluctant and slow readers, but also to beginning readers. The present invention has wide applications in learning disabilities and normative individuals learning to read.

Methods and systems for monitoring patients undergoing treatment for cancer
Oncology monitoring systems include: (a) a first plurality of radiation sensors configured to reside proximate a target tumor treatment site of a patient, the sensors being configured to provide radiation data associated with the tumor treatment site; and (b) a first portable receiver in communication with the plurality of sensors. The receiver is configured to obtain radiation data from the sensors at a plurality of different times. The receiver is in communication with a local and/or remote computer that tracks variation in the radiation data to provide dynamic tumor site information.
ROBOTIC SURGERY SYSTEM
A surgical apparatus, system and methodology are provided that may be utilized to treat a plurality of medical conditions. A robotic apparatus may be utilized in the treatment of a medical condition or to assist a medical professional in a surgical procedure. Additionally, the robotic apparatus and system may be utilized during a surgical procedure to provide guidance and to narrow the margin of error. In an exemplary embodiment, a scan may first be performed on a patient to determine a plurality of surgically necessary characteristics, such as bone density, locations, and the like. A virtual treatment plan may be provided by the system. An active and/or passive robotic apparatus may be provided to assist in the surgical technique. The robotic apparatus may be an active robotic which includes surgical tools whereby the medical professional may perform the surgical technique with the assistance of the active robotic apparatus.

A modular system for acquiring biometric data includes a plurality of data acquisition modules configured to sample biometric data from at least one respective input channel at a data acquisition rate. A representation of the sampled biometric data is stored in memory of each of the plurality of data acquisition modules. A central control system is in communication with each of the plurality of data acquisition modules through a bus. The central control system is configured to control communication of data, via the bus, with each of the plurality of data acquisition modules.
