Absorbent article for animals
An absorbent article for animals includes: a support body part which is detachably worn around the waist including the back and belly of the animal; and an absorbent main body part which is disposed along the back, crotch and belly of the animal and is detachably engaged with and fixed to the support body part. When viewed in a planar view in an unfolded state, the absorbent main body part is provided with: an engagement part which is disposed on at least one of end parts which are located at both longitudinal ends; an absorbent body; a tail opening part; and elastic members which impart a longitudinal contractive force to the absorbent main body part. The elastic members are disposed on both widthwise outer sides of the absorbent body and have a longer longitudinal length than the longitudinal length of the absorbent body.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING ATTACHMENT REGION
The present invention relates to absorbent articles comprising at least one attachment region for securing a wearable sensing device and further comprising visible placement indicia aligned with the attachment region wherein the visible placement indicia aids the placement of the wearable sensing device on the absorbent article. The present invention further relates to a system comprising the absorbent article and the wearable sensing device.
The present invention further relates to a method for manufacturing an absorbent article comprising visible placement indicia aligned with a wetness indicator and/or attachment region.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE, ENCLOSING PANTS, AND METHOD FOR WEARING COMBINATION THEREOF
An absorbent article and enclosing pants and a method for wearing the combination thereof are provided. The absorbent article has a front lifting section and a rear lifting section that are provided with apertures to allow male and female parts of hook-and-loop fasteners of the enclosing pants to touch inside the apertures and to engage outside the apertures for preventing skidding. An isolating absorbent article may have an easy tear line opening for selectively tearing and tightly surrounding around a rear root portion of the scrotum to isolate the external sex organ and for installation or extension of a urine tube or a urine sack. The enclosing pants has the front pad and a rear pad having two lifting and looping sections and a central opening section, the central opening for fixing and correspond the easy tear line opening.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH A FASTENING SYSTEM WITH REDUCED WASTE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
An absorbent article with a fastening system with reduced waste and method of manufacturing such an absorbent article is disclosed. The method of manufacturing an absorbent article can include cutting a first web of ear tab material to provide a first ear tab that is registered and cutting a second web of ear tab material to provide a second ear tab that is registered. The method can also include providing a web of ear panel material, coupling the first and second ear tabs to the web of ear panel material, cutting the web of ear panel material to provide first and second ear panels to form first and second ears, and coupling the first and second ears to the absorbent assembly to form at least a portion of the fastening system for the absorbent article. The first and second ears can be configured to be different from one another.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING DISCONTINUOUS BOND PATTERNS
The present disclosure provides absorbent articles comprising one or more nonwoven materials comprising discontinuous bond patterns that have a premium look, have adequate fastening performance when receiving hooks, and that have low levels of fuzz. The nonwoven components may be an outer cover nonwoven material, a discrete landing zone, a non-elasticized front belt comprising or more nonwoven materials, or other nonwoven component, for example.
INCONTINENCE DEVICE
The present disclosure may be embodied as an incontinence device for a catheterized individual. The device includes an absorbent pad configured to be worn by the individual. The absorbent pad having a slit partially separating the pad into two portions. A fastener may be provided for selectively attaching the two portions to each other. In this way, a catheter may be disposed through the slit of the device and the two portions may be attached to each other using the fastener to surround a circumference of the catheter. The fastener may be reusable. In some embodiments, the device includes more than one fastener. The fastener may be one or more of an adhesive, a hook-and-loop fastener, a snap fastener, or combinations thereof.
Absorbent article with elastically elongatable panel
Closure elements that include elastic and non-elastic regions are disclosed as well as absorbent articles that include closure elements.
ELASTIC FILM LAMINATE AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
An elastic panel for use in an absorbent article including a first nonwoven web layer, a second nonwoven web layer and an elastomeric film layer disposed between the first and second nonwoven layers. At least one of the first and second nonwoven web layers includes at least one group of folded portions. Each folded portion includes a first fold line and a second fold line so that the folded portion is divided into a proximal section, a distal section and a medial section disposed between the proximal and distal sections. The proximal section is directly attached to the elastomeric film layer and the medial and distal sections are not directly attached to the elastomeric film layer so that the folded portions extend to allow the web panel to stretch elastically.
METHOD OF APPLYING FASTENER ELEMENTS FOR DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT GARMENT
Methods of making disposable absorbent articles and disposable absorbent articles that comprise: a first, second, and third fastener elements to a web such that: the first fastener element is spaced from the second fastener element by a first distance along a length of the web; the second fastener element is spaced from the third fastener element by a second distance along the length of the web; and the second fastener element is disposed between the first and third fastener elements.
Diaper fastener
A diaper fastener is provided of the type having a substantially planar elastically extensible base member and three spaced hook units that have teeth operable to engage the fabric of a diaper in relevant zones thereof with the elastically extensible part stretched and operative to maintain the teeth in engagement with the diaper fabric to hold the diaper in its functional position. At least one of the hook units and generally all three are each composed of two parts that are permanently clipped together from opposite sides of the base member by inter-engaging formations. One of the parts has the hook teeth formed integral therewith and the two parts co-operate with the base member to physically locate the hook unit on the base member. Preferably, each hook unit is carried by an arm forming part of the planar base. Each hook unit has a hook part and a clamping part.
