An outer cover includes a first lateral end, a second lateral end, and a length Lc extending in a longitudinal direction between the first and second lateral ends; and a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The outer cover also includes an opening. The opening has a maximum longitudinal length, Lo, that is at least 50% of the length of the outer cover, Lc; and the opening is adapted to receive an absorbent insert.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING TEXTURE ZONES FORMING BACKGROUND PATTERNS AND MACRO PATTERNS

An absorbent article comprises first and second substrates and one or more elastic elements disposed at least partially intermediate the substrates. The second substrate is attached to the first substrate and/or to portions of the elastic elements. The absorbent article comprises an adhesive having a first and second pattern of elements disposed on first substrate, and first and second texture zones. The first texture zone comprises a first portion of the substrates, a first portion of the elastic elements, and the first pattern of elements of the adhesive and forms a background pattern in the first portion of the substrates. The second texture zone comprises a second portion of the substrates, a second portion of the one or more elastic elements, and the second pattern of elements of the adhesive and forms a macro pattern in the second portion of the substrates.

DURABLE UNDERWEAR ADAPTED FOR USE WITH ABSORBENT COMPONENT

A durable underwear brief panty adapted to accommodate an absorbent component is disclosed. The panty may include a crotch portion that exhibits a crotch longitudinal Elongation of 5 percent to 100 percent and a crotch longitudinal Tensile Modulus of 20 gf/mm to 100 gf/mm; and a crotch lateral Elongation of 50 percent to 200 percent and a crotch lateral Tensile Modulus of 2 gf/mm to 20 gf/mm. A combination of a brief panty and an absorbent pad, and an array including a brief panty product and an absorbent pad product, are also disclosed. The products are useful for management of incontinence.

Pull-on wearable article with informational image

A pull-on wearable article includes a main portion including an outer cover, the main portion defining a front waist region, a rear waist region, and a crotch region extending between and connecting the front and rear waist regions. First and second extendable side regions extend between and connect the main portion front waist region and the main portion rear waist region to form the article in a closed waist configuration, at least a portion of each side regions being extendable between a relaxed state and an extended state. An informational image is disposed in at least the first side region. The article may further include a texture feature formed in an outer surface of the article and positioned proximate to the informational image to form a composite image. Alternatively or additionally, the image includes a cognitively functional graphic.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH FRANGIBLE PATHWAYS HAVING TEAR ZONES

The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles including a first belt and a second belt, the first belt and/or the second belt comprising one or more frangible pathways. The frangible pathway may comprise a first tear zone and a second tear zone extending between an inner edge and an outer edge of the first belt. The diaper pant may be configured such the tear strength of the belt is greater than the tear strength of the frangible pathway so that a first tear line propagating along the first tear zone and a second tear line propagating along the second tear zone are inclined to tear along the frangible pathway rather than in an unintended tear direction.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH FRANGIBLE PATHWAYS HAVING TEAR ZONES

The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles including a first belt and a second belt, the first belt and/or the second belt comprising one or more frangible pathways. Each of the one or more substrates forming the belt has a material tear strength and the frangible pathway has a pathway tear strength. The material tear strength is greater than the pathway tear strength such that when a user tears along the one or more frangible pathways the tear propagates along the frangible pathway rather than in an unintended tear direction.
