EXTERIOR PART FOR A TIMEPIECE OR PIECE OF JEWELRY
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an exterior part for a timepiece or piece of jewelry made of Murano glass, said method comprising the following steps: providing a material formed of glass rods (2), also referred to as glass tubes, arranged side by side; multi-cycle heat treatment to consolidate the material and form a blank; machining the blank to produce the exterior part, the method being characterised in that the heat treatment comprises a first cycle (a) consisting of heating the material from a temperature less than or equal to 100° C. to a temperature between 450 and 650° C. at a heating rate between 4 and 12° C./min in order to avoid the formation of air bubbles during the manufacturing of the blank. It also relates to the exterior part for a timepiece or piece of jewelry, in particular a watch case, having a structure with few or no air bubbles.
ORNAMENTAL ARTICLES MADE FROM ORGANIC FIBER TWINE AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
An ornamental article includes a single piece of metal wire. The ornamental article includes a single piece of organic fiber twine knotted around the metal wire to produce an elongate member with first and second ends. The ornamental article further include at least one crimp connector located on at least one of the first and second ends. The ornamental article further includes a clasp located on one of the first and second ends for connecting to the other of the first and second ends.
Tool and method for creating fashion accessories
A device comprising: (a) a body portion including: (i) a first end and ii. a second end; (b) a holder at the first end; (c) a holder at the second end; (d) a rotation device at the first end in communication with the holder at the first end; and wherein the holder is fixedly attached to a split gear having a channel therethrough so that one or more flexible mediums may be placed through the channel and removed from a work area located between the holder at the first end and the holder at the second end.
External part for a timepiece or piece of jewellery
External part for a timepiece or piece of jewellery, this external part being produced by means of a polymer matrix in which piezochromic molecules are dispersed that change from a first stable state to a second stable state while changing colour under the effect of applied pressure.
METHODS OF TEMPORARILY ENHANCING THE LUSTER AND BRILLIANCE OF JEWELRY AND GEM STONES
Methods of temporarily enhancing the luster and/or brilliance of a piece of jewelry, a gem stone, or a piece of jewelry including a gem stone including applying a non-aqueous composition to the piece of jewelry, the gem stone, or the piece of jewelry including a gem stone.
Method for manufacturing synthetic gemstone
Provided is a method for manufacturing a synthetic gemstone from a body tissue of a person or an animal, the method including: extracting a biomaterial from the body tissue; manufacturing a raw material mixture by mixing the biomaterial with a gemstone material; and melting the raw material mixture to form a synthetic gemstone on a crystal seed.
WEARABLE SENSORS
Disclosed are devices, system and methods for using wearable sensors, such as an earring configured for insertion in an artificially-created cavity in a wearer's ear, the earring including one or more sensing devices in communication with a processing device via a wireless link.
Wrist watch strap manufacturing method
The invention relates to watch straps made of felt material. The method includes cutting out the strap from the felt material with a density of up to 0.5 g/cm.sup.3; forming the ends of the strap to be fastened to the watch body by adjusting the shape of the strap ends to the shape of a specific watch body and/or to strap fastening elements; impregnating the shaped ends of the strap with polymeric glue, preferably with liquid cyanoacrylate; precisely adjusting the fully dried and processed strap ends to the watch body or strap fastening elements; drilling the transversal apertures in the strap ends for inserting the watch pins to fasten the strap to the watch body. The watch strap thus obtained is eco-friendly, recyclable, non-allergenic and can be securely fastened to the watch body.
Multicolored flexible wearables and related methods
Multicolored flexible wearables include a first portion having a first flexible polymer forming a toroid and including one or more colorants, a first surface, a second surface, and a recess in the first surface not reaching the second surface. A second portion formed of a second flexible polymer fills a majority of the recess and includes one or more colorants. The first and second flexible polymers have different colors and are permanently bonded together. Precious material particles may be disposed within the first and/or second flexible polymers. One or more of the colorants may have a color matching a color of the precious material particles. One method of bonding the portions includes depositing a liquid second portion into the recess and then curing it. Another method includes depositing a solid second portion into the recess and then curing a liquid layer of polymer between the first portion and second portion.
KIT FOR SOLIDIFYING BREAST MILK AND PROCESS FOR OBTAINING SOLIDIFIED BREAST MILK
A kit for the solidification of breast milk and a breast milk solidification process using said kit are described, enabling the transformation of breast milk into a solid product through a chemical reaction, with the ratios of each qualitative element being properly controlled, and allowing lay users to obtain a molded solid product.
