Milanese band
A metallic mesh material used to form a portion of a band or securing strap for a wearable electronic device. The band may include a magnetic tab for securing a wearable device to the wrist of a user. The tab may include one or magnetic elements that are configured to engage a surface of the mesh to secure the wearable device to the wrist of a user.
Breathable and expandable rings
Rings disclosed herein include a toroid formed of an expandable polymer, the expandable polymer having an elastic modulus of no greater than 5 gigapascals (GPa), the expandable polymer forming at least 80 weight percent of the toroid, the toroid sized to fit snugly over a digit of a user. In implementations a plurality of precious material particles are disposed within the expandable polymer, wherein the precious material particles include one or more of gold particles, non-ionic silver particles, copper particles, platinum particles, and crushed pearl particles. In implementations a plurality of grooves are formed on an inner surface of the ring and extend from proximate a top of the ring to proximate a bottom of the ring. In implementations no portion of the ring has an elastic modulus greater than 5 GPa.
Clip
A clip having superimposable parts for securing, between the parts, thin pliable materials, at any locations on the material, adjacent the material edges or at any position between opposing material edges.
METAL MATRIX COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A composite material having a grainy appearance, this composite material including a metal matrix which represents, in terms of volume fraction, between 50 and 95% of the grainy composite material, the ceramic particles having a diameter that lies in the range 0.1 to 2 mm and which represent, in terms of volume fraction, between 50 and 5% of the composite material are dispersed in the metal matrix and form the remainder of this grainy composite material. A method for manufacturing a grainy synthetic material.
Ergonomic silicone wedding ring
The present invention is an ergonomic silicone wedding ring comprising of 3 bands which are designed not to separate easily and are thinner, more ergonomic and comfortable than prior silicone tri-band rings.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SYNTHETIC GEMSTONE
Provided is a method for manufacturing a synthetic gemstone, which manufactures a synthetic gemstone from a body tissue separated from a person or an animal, the method including: extracting a biological material from the body tissue; preparing a mixed material by mixing the biological material with a gemstone material; and growing a synthetic gemstone on a crystal seed as a single crystal by melting the mixed material.
MANUFACTURE OF A CERAMIC COMPONENT
The method for manufacturing a ceramic component, in particular a ceramic component containing zirconia and/or alumina, for a timepiece or a jewelry piece, is characterised in that it includes a step (E3) of depositing at least one additional element or compound on a ceramic powder, optionally bound, by atomic layer deposition (ALD).
MANUFACTURE OF A CERAMIC COMPONENT
A process for manufacturing a ceramic powder with binder includes at least one additional element or compound, the ceramic powder with binder being in particular based on zirconia and/or alumina and/or strontium aluminate, wherein the process includes a step (E3) of depositing at least one additional element or compound on a ceramic powder with binder by a physical vapour deposition (PVD) and/or by a chemical vapour deposition (CVD) and/or by an atomic layer deposition (ALD).
PLASTIC BRACELET WITH A PERFECT AESTHETIC FINISH
A method for manufacturing a bracelet made of synthetic material for watches or jewellery including at least one strand, the method including a step of making, by moulding or extrusion, a band of synthetic material intended to form at least one strand, the method being wherein it then includes a step of chemical mechanical polishing the band. A bracelet made of synthetic material for watches or jewellery includes at least one strand formed of an extruded or injection moulded band, wherein at least one strand has a roughness Rp less than or equal to 3 m and preferably less than or equal to 2 m.
Direct printed jewelry charm
A jewelry charm includes a pair of identical main body sections, each having an inside facing surface, an outside facing surface, a centrally located cylindrical protrusion that is positioned along the inside facing surfaces, a centrally located cylindrical indentation that is positioned along the inside facing surfaces, an elongated indentation that encircles the cylindrical indentation and protrusion, a bonding agent that is positioned between the pair of main body sections, and a connector having a proximal end that is secured between the pair of main body sections and a distal end that is positioned away from the pair of main body sections.
