ABSORBENT ARTICLES COMPRISING GLYCERIDE COPOLYMERS
The present invention relates to absorbent articles comprising species of glyceride copolymers that provide unexpectedly improved softening performance and formulability.
Time indicator tampon
A tampon comprising an absorbent pledget and a time-lapse indicator associated therewith is provided. The time-lapse indicator includes a sensory material surrounded by, embedded in, covered by, or coated with a release-retarding material that protects the sensory material and prevents its release, until after a predetermined period of time has elapsed. The time-lapse indicator is located on or in the tampon or tampon removal string, or, optionally, the tampon packaging. After the time-lapse indicator is activated and a predetermined period of time has elapsed, the sensory material is released and alerts the user that it is time to change the tampon.
Absorbent product comprising an odor control material
Absorbent product having a liquid permeable surface and a liquid impermeable opposite surface, the absorbent product including an odor control material, the odor control material including a carrier material and a plurality of odor control particles adhered to the carrier material. The carrier material has a first surface located towards the liquid permeable surface of the absorbent product and a second opposite surface located towards the liquid impermeable surface of the absorbent product. The plurality of odor control particles are bonded to the second surface of the carrier material with a water soluble binder substance wherein the binder substance at least partly dissolves when in contact with an aqueous solution.
Absorbent conduit and system
A conduit for treating a tissue site with reduced pressure may include a primary lumen and at least one secondary lumen. A wall of the conduit may include a first wall material and a second wall material. The first wall material may comprise a substantially non-absorbent material that is vapor impermeable and liquid impermeable. The second wall material may comprise an absorbent material that is vapor permeable and liquid impermeable. The second wall material may be positioned in fluid contact with the at least one secondary lumen. Other systems, apparatus, and methods are disclosed.
Absorbent Articles Including Perfume and Cyclodextrins
An absorbent article comprising a perfume which is suitable for improved release from a cyclodextrin complex, wherein the perfume includes 10% or more, by weight of the perfume, of one or more perfume raw materials having: a cyclodextrin complex stability constant (log k) of less than about 3.0, a ClogP of about 2.5 or less, and a weight average molecular weight of about 200 Daltons or less.
MALE INCONTINENCE WRAP SYSTEMS
The male incontinence wrap system is a disposable absorbent pad designed to be wrapped around the male genital member of a person suffering from incontinence. The pad is wrapped around the male genital and secured by a first adhesive strip and then folded back at the end and held in place by a second adhesive strip, an elastic band, or both. An adhesive peel-and-stick strip attaches the absorbent pad assembly around the user to prevent sliding. At least one fold crease can be included extending between first and second edges and aids in the folding and forming of a pouch-shaped interior volume.
ABSORBABLE PAD
Disclosed herein is a liquid absorbing pad for use in clothing, comprising: a liquid permeable layer; a functional layer over the liquid impermeable layer; and a liquid impermeable barrier material, wherein the functional layer is capable of acquiring and distributing liquid and/or absorbing liquid and the liquid impermeable barrier material is bonded to at least the liquid impermeable layer and the functional layer around the periphery of said layers by a bonding means, provided that the bonding means is not stitching. The liquid absorbable pad may form part of a garment.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A contact efficiency between a fragrance material and body fluid is increased, fragrance is effectively generated by a small amount of the fragrance material, and a manufacturing step is simplified.
Including an absorbent body (6) in which a defibrated fluff pulp (5), defibrated from a pulp raw fabric sheet (4), is fiber stacked, wherein a fragrance material (3) is added to the pulp raw fabric sheet (4) before being defibrated. A manufacturing method includes a paper making step of obtaining, after forming a wet paper sheet (2) from a source material (2) and adding a fragrance material (3) to the wet paper sheet (2), a pulp raw fabric sheet (4) by dehydrating and drying the wet paper sheet (2), and a processing step of an absorbent article of defibrating the pulp raw fabric sheet (4) and manufacturing an absorbent body (6) by fiber stacking this defibrated fluff pulp (5).
Absorbent pad for a garment
The present disclosure generally relates to an absorbent pad for use in a garment. The absorbent pad includes: a liquid impermeable barrier layer; a functional layer attached to the barrier layer, the functional layer comprising a liquid absorbent component; a liquid impermeable peripheral sealing element bonded to peripheries of the functional layer and barrier layer; and a peripheral attaching element having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion bonded to the peripheral sealing element. The second portion of the peripheral attaching element is detached from the peripheral sealing element and is arranged to be attached to a fabric body of the garment, thereby attaching the absorbent pad to the garment.
Absorbent article
[Problem] To provide an absorbent article further suppressing occurrence of malodor after absorbing body fluid. [Solution] An absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable top sheet disposed on a skin surface side, a liquid impermeable back sheet disposed on an external surface side, and an absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, wherein the absorbent body has a water absorbent layer including a water absorbent resin powder, fumaric acid is disposed at a position being able to be in contact with body fluid absorbed in the absorbent article, and a polyphenol compound is disposed closer to the skin surface side than the back sheet.
