The present disclosure relates to an intelligent internet of things (IoT) monitoring system, and in particular to techniques (e.g., systems, methods, computer program products storing code or instructions executable by one or more processors) for the implementation of an IoT solution to manage urinary incontinence. Some aspects are directed to the concept of a management platform that allows for end users such as health care providers, caretakers, or medical personnel to manage and monitor one or more subjects through one or more client devices using a network of sensors and IoT devices. Other aspects are directed the concept of a data analysis system configured to train and deploy one or more prediction models for analysis and tracking metrics of health or wellbeing for the one or more subjects.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH LEAKAGE PROBABILITY ALGORITHM

Method for monitoring wetness events in an absorbent article comprising a substrate adapted for incorporation into the absorbent article comprising a plurality of conductors and a plurality of electrodes arranged to undergo a change in electrical properties upon one or more wetness events. The method, upon a wetness event, comprises the step of determining the number of conductors triggered by said wetness event to cumulatively determine the number of activated electrodes. The cumulative number of activated electrodes is compared to a threshold value and an alarm is triggered when the number of activated electrodes is equal to or greater than the threshold value.

The present invention relates to a diaper indicator specifically designed for individuals with special needs, including those with visual and hearing impairments. The diaper indicator features embedded sensors that detect moisture and soiling within the diaper, providing accessible notifications through multiple channels. These channels include a Braille Tactile Code output panel for tactile notifications, a visual display that shows sign language images or animations. The invention is designed to be made from hypoallergenic materials to ensure user safety and comfort. This innovative diaper indicator enhances accessibility and ease of care for special needs individuals and their caregivers.

DIAPER STATUS MONITOR

A diaper status monitor is provided. The diaper status monitor includes a gas sensing unit, an information output unit, a microcontroller unit (MCU), a wireless communication module, a battery unit, and a power switch all mounted in a housing. Concentrations of target gases generated by feces or urine are detected by gas sensors. Once the concentration of the target gas reaches a preset threshold value, the MCU outputs status signals corresponding to the threshold value and drives a light emitting member of the information output unit to emit light with colors corresponding to the status signals. Concentration data of the target gas and the status signals are sent to a receiving end by the wireless communication module. The diaper status monitor monitors conditions of diapers and alarms users to replace the diaper in time. The diaper status monitor is mounted detachably and able to be used again.

INCONTINENCE DETECTION STRIP AND METHODS
20260130803 · 2026-05-14 ·

An apparatus and method for detecting incontinence events of people with limited mobility, are immobile, and/or non-responsive. One or more detection strips are place in close proximity to the person via either direct placement or through a secondary apparatus such as a pad, diaper or the like. The detection strip has an indicator pad attached to a thin carrier strip. The indicator pad may come in contact with urine or bowel matter. At any time, a caregiver may pull a strip and check the indicator pad for signs of an incontinence event. The caregiver can remove a strip without disrupting the person, wasting energy, or compromising the persons'dignity.
