Quick-release securing device
A quick-release securing device is constructed of nylon strap having an openable loop at one end, and snap hook at the other end. The distance between the openable loop and the snap hook, and the circumference of the openable loop, is adjustable. The loop can be opened and closed using a buckle. A supplemental strap may be employed for releasably attaching items, such as boat fenders, to the securing device.
Swivel-Lock Quick Release
A swivel-lock quick release is described. Embodiments of the swivel-lock quick release can include, but is not limited to, a male member adapted to mate with a female member wherein the male member can be disengaged by lifting and then rotating the male member while continuously lifting the male member. The male member can include a slot adapted to interface with a protrusion from the female member. The male member and the female member can each include an attachment mechanism to couple to various objects and/or tools.
INTERLOCKING FASTENER
Embodiments of the disclosure include a fastener having a male and female connector configured to interlock.
Twist Lock
Representative implementations of devices and techniques provide a locking mechanism that can be used to temporarily lock multiple component parts into a joined configuration. In various implementations, the locking mechanism comprises a twist lock system. For example, the twist lock system includes a first male portion including a post having one or more features in one or more surfaces of the post and a second female portion including a ring arranged to fit over the post and to engage the features of the post.
CLASP
To provide a clasp that is capable of satisfying both of operational convenience and freedom in design when provided to an accessory or the like.
In a clasp 1 including a male member 2 consisting of a columnar insertion portion 23, and a female member 4 including a cylindrical housing portion 43 housing the insertion portion 23, the insertion portion 23 and the housing portion 43 each include attraction members arranged to attract the insertion portion 23 into the housing portion 43 by magnetic attraction force. A male engagement body 3 is provided on an outer peripheral surface 23a of the insertion portion 23 of the male member 2 while a female engagement body 5 is provided on an inner peripheral surface 43a of the housing portion 43 of the female member 4. At least one of the male engagement body 3 and the female engagement body 5 is provided as a long protruding edge structure or a long recessed notch structure along the axes of the insertion portion 23 and the housing portion 43, and includes a guiding portion 53 arranged to guide the other, and also includes a retaining portion 52 capable of preventing, by being locked to the other, the insertion portion 23 from getting out of the housing portion 43.
Self-Aligning, Quick Connect and Disconnect Magnetic End Connectors
Self-aligning, durable quick connect strap end connector system that includes a pair of identical end connectors configured to slide together and interconnect. Each end connector includes a body with a strap bar and strap slot formed on the body's proximal end. The body includes a narrow section and a lip section that extends downward and rearward. The lip section includes an abutment surface transversely aligned with the body's longitudinal axis. Located adjacent to the abutment surface is a vid area configured to receive the lip section on a second end connector longitudinally aligned with said first end connector. At least one projecting element extends from the abutment surface on said first end connector and fits into a hole formed on the abutment surface of the second end connector. Mounted on each abutment surface is at least one magnet that generate a magnetically attractive force between the two end connectors.
Snap and lock
A button system containing two pieces that snap and lock together to fasten multiple articles of clothing. The top piece is made of three distinct parts: a detachable ridged color-coded cover, a fastener that attaches said cover to a rotatable hinged plate, and a fastener that secures all three pieces of the top piece. The bottom piece is also made up of three distinct parts: a plate to receive the hinges from the top piece, a curved structure that connects the hinge/cavity plates to the article of clothing, and a rivet that attaches to the article of clothing and the snap and lock invention.
ZIP FASTENER WITH AUGMENTED INDICATION
A zip fastener consisting of two zipper tapes, two series of interlocking teeth and a zipper slider is disclosed. Each interlocking tooth includes a front engagement end piece and a rear extension end piece respectively extended from a tooth body thereof in reversed direction. The rear extension end piece provides a track for supporting and guiding sliding movement of the zipper slider and an augmented portion that exhibits a visual indication.
Connecting Device
Provided is a connecting device includes a first connecting part which includes a first base body and at least one engagement protrusion arranged rigidly on the first base body, and a second connecting part, which can be attached to the first connecting part in a closing direction and includes a second base body with an engagement section arranged rigidly on the second base body. The first connecting part includes a first magnetic device and the second connecting part includes a second magnetic device. The first magnetic device and the second magnetic device interact in a magnetically attracting manner along the closing direction to support the attachment of the first connecting part and the second connecting part to one another. The first connecting part includes a blocking section which is configured to cooperate with the second connecting part in the connected position.
