An assembly has a liftable lid and a movable hinge module. The assembly includes an object having an opening, a lid rotatably arranged upon the opening, and a hinge module. The hinge module includes at least a shaft connected to the lid, a base, and at least a latch. The shaft is connected to the base and along with the base defines a rotating axis. The rotating axis is movably arranged between a close position and an open position. The latch fastens the lid over the opening. When the rotating axis is at close position, the lid closes upon the opening as a close state. When the rotating axis moves away from close position, the lid rotates and moves away from the opening to an open state. The rotating axis moves to open position.

A locking device between a first structure and a second structure includes a bolt to lock the first and second structures, an indicator as to whether the bolt has locked/unlocked the structures, and a connecting system. The bolt includes a lock bolt attached to the first structure and able to engage a hook which is attached to the second structure. In particular, the connecting system connects the bolt with the lock bolt to the indicator, and the hook is mounted such that it can move between a first position in which it is engaged with the lock bolt and allows the indicator to be locked, and a second position in which the hook is free of the lock bolt and allows the indicator to be unlocked.

A slam type locking mechanism is described. The locking mechanism allows a storage container with the locking mechanism to be slammed shut in a single motion. The operator may slam the lid or door to the container using a single hand that is only pressing or pushing the lid or door closed. The slam type locking mechanism includes a lock having a lock housing, a handle, and a spring loading mechanism. The handle is rotatably engaged to the spring loading mechanism. The rods are in a rotational engagement with the lock, wherein the rods have an offset that interacts with a striker on the container or lid in a locking relationship.

Disclosed embodiments relate to a cable cover to be attached thereto or detached therefrom using a spring, thereby including an effect of facilitating the attachment and detachment of the cable cover through an elastic force of the spring.
