An apparatus (10) includes an engagement element (11), fitted on a household appliance casing for being releasably held by a retaining element (16) fitted on the door (D). The engagement element (11) includes a support body (12); and a striker (14), releasably coupled to the retaining element (16) and is mobile between a retracted position and an extracted position. When the striker (14) is coupled to the retaining element (16) and assumes the retracted position and the extracted position, respectively, the door (D) is in a complete closing condition and in a pre-opening condition, respectively. A stop mechanism (18) moves from a release condition, to liberate said striker (14), to a locking condition, to hold said striker (14), in said retracted position; a driver controls movement of the stop mechanism (18). The stop mechanism (18) has a manually controlled safety element (18a) and is moveable to constrain the stop mechanism.

The present disclosure relates to an oven including a main body including a cooking chamber, a door rotatably coupled to the main body to open and close the cooking chamber, and a door locking device to lock the door not to be open with respect to the main body, wherein the door locking device includes a cam to be rotatable and including a plurality of first contact parts and a plurality of second contact parts, a lock releasing guide to linearly move to selectively come into contact with the plurality of first contact parts, and a locker to come into contact with the plurality of second contact parts and coupled to a locker holder provided in the door when coming into the plurality of second contact parts. The present disclosure provides a door lock device for releasably locking a door of a washing machine. The door lock device has first to third latches, and a drive motor and a latch drive mechanism for moving the third latch. The first latch releasably locks the door of the washing machine and is movable in frontward and rearward directions. The movement of the first latch is changed at a change position. The first latch is always biased frontward by a spring. The second latch releasably locks the first latch, which locks the door of the washing machine, at a door locking position. The third latch is moved in a direction perpendicular to the movement direction of the first latch. The third latch restricts the first latch at the door locking position, or unlocks the first latch after pushing the first latch from the door locking position against the spring.

A securing mechanism for a door, especially the door of a device, comprising a first closure element; an arresting structure disposed on the first closure element; a second closure element configured for latching with the arresting structure, wherein for unlatching purposes, the second closure element is rotatable relative to the first closure element; and a lever support that is movable relative to the second closure element such that it is transferable between a release position, in which it cancels a latching of the second closure element with the arresting structure, and a latching position in which the latching of the second closure element with the arresting structure is maintained. The lever support is also movable relative to the first closure element.

A device for locking and unlocking the door of an electric household appliance. The device includes an electrically controlled actuator (25, 26), which can be coupled to a movable control member (20) through a movable transmission member (29), and which, as a consequence of successive activations, tends, through the transmission member (29), to make the control member (20) alternately assume a first position and a second position, in which the control member (20) retains and frees, respectively, the locking member (9), maintaining it in the disengaged position and allowing its passage into the engaged position, respectively.
