Craniosacral cradle system and method
A formed therapeutic tool has a base in a generally heart-shaped configuration with a narrow arcuate front, a wide rear, tapering sides, and a concave bottom. A rearward support is formed of two similarly configured projections. The projections are laterally spaced. Each projection has a linear high point and a semicircular surface. The tool has a forward support formed of two similarly configured inclines. Each incline has an arcuate high point adjacent to one of the projections and an arcuate low point adjacent to the front. A ovoid shaped central recess extends downwardly between the inclines and the projections. The central recess terminates in an ovoid shaped floor with a lower surface constituting a portion of the concave bottom of the base. The tool having a Durometer of from 36 to 45 on a Shore A scale and an Indentation Force Deflection of from 8 to 9.
SURGICAL FRAME IMCLUDING MAIN BEAM FOR FACILITATING PATIENT ACCESS
A surgical positioning frame for supporting a patient includes a main beam having an axis of rotation relative to support structures. The main beam rotates the patient between a prone position and a lateral position. The main beam including a conforming main beam portion extending between the first and second support arms. The conforming main beam is preferably configured to allow a surgeon access to one lateral side of the patient and a surgical assistant access to the other lateral side of the patient with limited interference thereby.
System, apparatus and method for patient positioning prior to, during and/or after medical procedures
A system for positioning a patient before, during or after a medical procedure can include an arm assembly and a surgical drape for use with the arm assembly. The surgical drape can be configured to be placed around a surgical site where an operative procedure is to be conducted. The surgical drape includes a transparent viewing window, multiple handle covers, and an expandable opening on the top side of the surgical drape. Additionally, the surgical drape may also include adhesive components on the bottom side of the drape that may be independently removed in order to affix the drape around a surgical site.

POSITIONING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a system for positioning a patient on a medical device. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a system for aligning a patient's head, spine, and shoulders for providing radiation treatment to a head and neck area of the patient.
CERVICAL TRACTION DEVICE
An example cervical traction device is used in conjunction with a therapy table and is made up of: a traction assembly configured to cyclically apply a traction force to the cervical spine at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the cervical spine to bend the cervical spine; a frame configured to support the traction assembly, the frame includes an upright mast; and a curved orthosis adapted to rest directly on the therapy table and for being positioned under the cervical spine of a patient during treatment. The traction assembly includes a first pulley device connected to the upright mast of the frame, the first pulley device is adjustable along a length of the upright mast. The traction assembly is configured to bend the cervical spine about the curved orthosis while exerting the traction force.
Cervical traction device
An example cervical traction device includes a traction assembly configured to cyclically apply a traction force to a patient's cervical spine at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the cervical spine to bend the cervical spine. The traction assembly is made up of an electric motor operably connected to a headgear by a traction line capable of transferring traction force generated by the electric motor to the headgear. The electric motor is operably connected to the traction line by a linkage and a linear actuator rod. Together, the linkage and the linear actuator rod are configured to convert torque generated by the electric motor into back-and-forth linear motion used to cyclically apply traction force to the traction line and thereby the headgear. The linear actuator rod is supported by two posts, each of the two posts includes an eyelet through which the linear actuator rod reciprocates.
